Low Carb - Day 4

Today was Day 4 of Low Carb week. It went even better then yesterday. I woke up this morning weighing 169.6. I enjoyed another bacon and cheese omelet. Although today I couldn't finish it. I was in a really big hurry to get out the door.

I got to visit my nephew again today and take hime the gifts. My girls also got to meet hime for the first time. They love him so much. I really think he want to come and live with me. :)

After our visit we met up with two of my really great friends and their kids and had lunch at a park. The kids got to feed the ducks and then play on the equiptment. They had such a blast. It was actually 86 degree when we left. It was so hot and it is supposed to be even warmer tomorrow.

For lunch we had pizza, chips, cookies and candy. I was a good girl and brought my own lunch. I had leftover salad, 98% fat free turkey slices, a light cheese stick, a 2% cheese block, and a chocolate pudding with peanut butter. I didn't feel deprived at all.

When we got home I made hamburgers on the grill for my family and I ended up eating a leftover Out-side In burger and some Slammin Slaw. I wasn't that hungry so I ate the burger and slaw but not the rest of the veggies.

I ended my night with a sugar free pudding cup with peanut butter. Now I am off to bed. I have an early morning tomorrow.

Low Carb - Day 3

Yesterday was a very long day. I was running on just a few hours sleep and I needed to go shopping for preemie clothes for my nephew. I never realized how hard it is to find little boy preemie clothes when you need them. The selection is pitiful. After hours of shopping this is what I ended up getting him. The outfit and the bear that is almost as big as him. :)

He is too cute for words!

After shopping for 5 hours I decided it was to late to drive another 2 hours to see the baby. So I took my girls to Cold Stone Creamery to split an ice cream. I don't know why I torture myself like that. I love that place way to much.

Surprisingly I was able to walk in buy my girls an ice cream and leave. I'm not sure where the will power came from but I did it. I was really proud of myself. I did have three bites of the girls ice cream but that is way better then getting my own.

For breakfast I enjoyed a bacon and cheese omelet. I ate every bite. I used egg beaters, 3 slices of already cooked bacon, and 1 slice of 2% cheese.

For lunch my Mom, my sister Heather, the kids and I all went to Red Robin. I wasn't sure what I could get but I was determined to get something low carb. I was so happy to find the "Burger In The Raw". It is just a hamburger patty in a lettuce wrap with pickles, onion and tomatoes. It also came with cantaloupe. I asked for some avocado and put a little ketchup on and had no trouble eating every bite! I also ate half of a fried zucchini. It was so good!

By the time I got home for dinner I was starving but didn't really care what I ate. I snacked on some 98% fat free turkey and a 2% individual block of cheese while I heated dinner up. I ended up eating leftover Slammin' Slaw and chicken w/ pineapple salsa (very low carb) on lettuce wraps. I also had leftover Hungry Girl Lucky Four-Leaf Salad with feta and apples. It was an awesome meal!

And that was it for the night. I was so exhausted that I went to bed early. I actually slept better last night then I have in past 4 1/2 years since I have been diagnosed with Fibromyalgia. It was wonderful to be so relaxed and not have any pain. I hope I have more night like last night.

Have you tried any new low carb meals? I'd love to hear about them!

And The Number Is ... Week 69

This past week was a little crazy and busy but all in all it was a good week. I started doing low-carb on Tuesday and have really been enjoying it. It changes things up a bit and I am enjoying being able to eat so much. I feel much fuller and don't feel the need to snack as much. It has actually been really nice.

My weight on the scale yesterday morning was 170. That's a 1 pounds lose from last week. Yippee!!! I'm getting their. I am determined to get past this Plateau.

My Week In Review:

1. Exercise: I ran while my daughter rode her bike earlier in the week. It was really nice. I can't wait to do it again.

2. Water: I have been drinking tons of water. If I am going low carb then I am doing it right and drinking water is definitely helping.

3. Late night eating: Nope! I don't even feel the need to.

4. Snacking: My snacks have been great. Turkey lunch meat and light laughing cow cheese, 2% cheese, light string cheese, sugar free choc. pudding cup with peanut butter mixed in.

5. Eating more fruits and veggies: I have been eating more veggies then ever in my life. Mostly to make up for the lack of bread and surprisingly I don't mind at all.

What do I need to work on for next week:
Stick to low carb until Tuesday (a full week) and then possibly stay low carb (just not as low as right now). I think I will add a few more carbs back in like bagel thins and light ice cream. :)

Check It Out!!!

I have some great news! I was interviewed a few weeks ago by That's Fit and yesterday I was so excited to see that they wrote an article about me and put it on their site. They featured me under success and motivation. It is such a honor for me to be featured on this site. I can't wait for all of you to read it. :)

Day 2 Low Carb and A Wonderful Miracle

Yesterday started out to be a great day with my low carb plan but I soon figured out it wasn't going to be so easy on a day like that.

Before I tell you why I want to show you what I ate for dinner on Tuesday night (Day 1 - low carb). I made a pork tenderloin in the crock pot and shredded it. Then I put the pulled pork into a piece of leaf lettuce with some pickle slices and Slammin' Slaw and this is what I ended up with. They were so good I ate 4 or 5 of them.

leaf lettuce pulled pork wraps

Hungry Girl's Slammin' Slaw

When I woke up Wed. morning I was pleasantly surprised to see that I had lost 1.6 pounds since the day before. You may think it was because I didn't eat much but that really is not what happened. The low carb thing really worked.

This is what I ate on Tuesday (day 1):

SF choc. pudding cup w/ 2 tsp. of peanut butter

4 oz sirlion steak

3 cups spring mix

3 tbsp light blue cheese dressing (very, very low carb)

SF choc. pudding cup w/ 2 tsp. of peanut butter

4 pieces of leaf lettuce

approx. 1 cup of pulled pork

approx. 3/4 cup of Slammin' Slaw

6 pickle slices

SF Pudding Cup w/ 2 tsp. of peanut butter
7 slices of 98% fat free turkey w/ 1 light laughing cow cheese wedge

2 Kraft 2% cheese (individual cheese blocks)

20 raw almonds

4 light string cheese

Yes, I really did eat all of that. As you can see I didn't real even the least bit deprived but still lost 1.6 pounds. Awesome!!!

Tuesday started out great! I ate scrambled eggs with spinach, peppers and onions and appox. 3oz of steak.

I ate all of the steak but only about 2/3 of the eggs.

I had my friend Elizabeth over for lunch and she is also trying low carb for the week. This is what I made. I said that the salad should actually be named "To Die For Salad". It was that good! The best salad that I have ever tasted. The burger was great too. I ate it in between two pieces of leaf lettuce, pickles and ketchup. It turned out to be a little messy. So I recommend cutting it up and eating it. It was the best lunch and really, really filling. Highly recommended!

Hungry Girl's Lucky Four-Leaf Salad with feta and apples

Hungry Girls's Outside In Cheeseburger Patties

After that I ate a few snacks before taking the girls to soccer.

-SF Pudding cup w/ 2 tsp of peanut butter

-7 slices of 98% fat free turkey w/ 1 light laughing cow cheese wedge

That's when things got crazy! I ended up going out to dinner with my Mom because of the reason that I will list below. I did great! This is what I ate. I'm sure the pickled eggs had a few carbs from the sugar but not to many. I can't believe I resisted all of the bread and muffins on the salad bar. It was a great salad with tons of meat. I need my protein. :)

My huge salad

pickled eggs and beats

the leftovers

Then my sister and brother-in-law gave me an awesome gift!

A Beautiful New Nephew!!!

My Nephew and I

I spent 9 and 1/2 hours between driving and sitting at the hospital waiting for him. He was well worth the weight. He was 4 weeks early so he is only 5 pounds but absolutely perfect! I can't wait to buy him some preemie clothes. :)

The only problem with waiting is that I was so tired and at 11pm I ate 2 slices of pepperoni pizza and a snickers bar. I know I messed up my low carbs for the day but I let stress and lack of sleep get the best of me.

On an up note, I woke up this morning and weighed exactly the same as yesterday.

I have to say that I am really loving the low carbs!!!

How are all of you doing with the low carb eating? If you have any food suggestions I would love to hear them.

Very Low Carb - Day 1 Plus Menu and Recipes

Day 1 of low carb has been great so far. I went to Walmart this morning and purchased everything that I need. Check out all of my goodies below.

2 bags of frozen Broccoli and Cauliflower mix, 2 bags of Cauliflower and 1 bag of pepper and onion strips

4 1/2 pounds of boneless skinless chicken breasts, 5.5 pounds of 93/7 hamburger, Jimmy Dean Turkey Sausage patties, precooked bacon, three sirloin steaks (not pictured)
and fat free beef franks.

Coffee, thin sliced almonds, 2 Fugi apples, egg beaters, a head of cabbage, a head of lettuce, bag of coleslaw mix, 1 red onion, pineapple salsa, sour cream, mini dill pickles, chili sauce, Light Asian dressing, disionaise, sugar free chocolate pudding, feta cheese, 2% shredded cheese, 98% fat free turkey, Kraft 2% singles, Light string cheese, Leaf Lettuce, 2 bags of spring mix, 1 bag of spinach, 3 tomatoes, eggs, fat free refried beans and fat free sour cream.

I forgot how expensive low carb can be. I spent way to much money on food today. I guess if it lasts me all week it won't be to bad but I have a feeling it won't last that long. I didn't even buy any fruit. It was to expensive and to small this week. I am going to check out Aldi later in the week.

For breakfast today I had a sugar free chocolate Jello pudding cup with 2 tsp. of peanut butter in it. For lunch I had a salad of Spring Mix, sirloin steak and lite blue cheese dressing. The dressing had 2 grams of carbs. Way less then the vinaigrette I was going to use. As a snack this afternoon I had two of the Cracker Barrel 2% cheese sticks. They are so good!

I haven't had any cravings for carbs yet today but I am starting to feel very tired. So I may just start craving them very soon. I hope not.

I did a little research last night on No Carb foods and found out that most of the so called no carb foods actually do have a very little amount of carbs in them. That is why I am saying that I am going low carb for the week instead of no carb. I will only eat foods that either have no carbs or have very few carbs.

Click here to view a basic list of very low carb foods. It gave me some great ideas.

My sister bought me the new Hungry Girl 1-2-3 cookbook for my birthday and I absolutely love it. I recommend it to everyone. I think it may be my favorite cookbook ever! There are so many great recipes and ideas in it.

I planned out meals for the next few days and I will list them below to give you some ideas.

Slammin' Slaw
Hungry Girl 1-2-3 Cookbook

One 16 ounce bag dry cole slaw
1/4 cup fat free mayo
1/4 cup fat free sour cream
2 1/2 TBSP seasoned rice vinegar
1 teaspoon Dijonnaise
2 no-calorie sweetener packets
1/4 teaspoon seasoned salt
salt and pepper to taste

Place cole slaw in a large bowl, set aside.
To make dressing, in a small bowl, combine mayo, sour cream, rice vinegar, dijonnaise, sweetener, and seasoned salt. Mix well.
Add dressing to cole slaw and stir until slaw is thoroughly coated.
Cover and refrigerate for at least 3 hours. (for best flavor, make slaw the night before you plan to serve)
Give it a good stir before serving, and season to taste with salt and pepper. Enjoy!

Serving size - 2/3 cup - 49 cal, .5 g fat, 2 g fiber

Outside In Cheeseburger Patties
Hungry Girl 1-2-3 Cookbook

4 ounces raw extra-lean ground beef
1/8 tsp. garlic powder
1/8 tsp. onion powder
1/8 tsp. Worcestershire sauce
dash salt
dash pepper
1 wedge The Laughing Cow Light Original Swiss Cheese

Combine all ingredients except cheese in a bowl. Add as much salt and pepper as you like. Knead mixture by hand until integrated.

Form into a ball, using your thumb, make a large, hollow indentation in the ball (pat the center but not all the way through). Fill the hole with cheese and squeeze the meat to seal, making sure no cheese is exposed. Flatten slightly into a thick patty.

Bring a skillet or grill pan sprayed with nonstick spray to medium-high heat. Place patty in the skillet/grill pan, cover, and cook for 4-7 minutes per side, depending on how well done you like your burger. Heads Up: Don't press on the patty with your spatula (your burger might ooze cheese!).

Serve however you like you burger... We like ours with Ketchup and pickles between giant leaves of lettuce!

1/4 cup thinly sliced red onion

Optional: Freshly ground black pepper, light vinaigrette dressing or another low-calorie dressing

Cut apple into quarters and remove the core, seeds, and stem. Thinly slice and then cut the slices in half width wise.

Toss all ingredients together in a bowl. Add some pepper and dressing if you like, but this salad's so flavorful you may not need 'em. Enjoy!!!

Dash cayenne pepper, or more to taste

Preheat oven to 375 degrees.

In a small bowl, mix teriyaki sauce with chili sauce. Set aside.

Lay a large piece of heavy-duty foil on a baking sheet and spray with nonstick spray. Place the salmon in the center, and top with the teriyaki-chili sauce. Flip salmon over to coat evenly on both sides.

Top fish with pineapple slices and sprinkle with cayenne pepper. Fold together and seal the top and bottom edges of the foil, and then the side edges, to create a well-sealed packet.

Place baking sheet in the oven and bake for about 20 minutes, until fish is cooked through.

Allow packet to cool for a few minutes, and then cut to release steam before opening it entirely. (Careful-steam will be hot.) YUM!

The Pudget Sisters Weight Loss Contest - Week 3

The Pudget Sisters have completed week three of the weight loss challenge. Heather is in the lead this week with a total loss of 2.8 pounds. I am lagging behind by .8. Maybe this will give me the incentive I need to lose a few pounds this week. I always love a good challenge. :)

See below to read more about our week and our weight loss! Also, check out the awesome goals Heather has met this week. Congrats Heather!

Heather Week 3:

1. Last weeks weight? 171.6

2. This weeks weight? 170

3a. Loss for the week? 1.6

3b. Total weight loss so far? 2.8

4. How do you feel you did this week? I did great this week!

5. What was your biggest struggle? I wanted to write down what I ate, but didn't.

6. Biggest success? I hit both my 10% WW goal and my 20lb goal!

7. Favorite food for the week? Recipe? My favorite snack food this week was Pringles fat free Sour Cream and Onion (again). My favorite Recipe was this Grilled Chicken with Queso Verde sauce. It's from a WW cookbook and was sooo good! The cheese tasted just like the melted cheese from a Mexican restaurant.

8. What helped you the most this week? Planning my menu helped so much! I wasn't scrambling for something healthy to eat -- most of the time. There was an issue with my rice cooker that had me scrambling for a side dish for dinner one night, but it all worked out fine.

9. Did you exercise? No

10. Give us an example of what you eat in a normal day. Breakfasts have been a Thomas Everything Bagel Thin with WW cream cheese or Quaker Maple and Brown Sugar High Fiber oatmeal with a bagel thin. Lunches are usually a sandwiches with FF pringles. I made some new things for dinner this week -- The Grilled chicken from above, an Easter Pork Tenderloin, Spiced Rubbed Shrimp tacos with homemade quacamole...and I did go out for Thai food (yum!) one night. I really like the skinny cow chocolate pb ice cream sandwiches too.

11. What will you do differently this week? hopefully exercise and drink more water

12. What will you do the same this week? Plan ahead.

13. Anything else you would like to share. I am very excited this week! It feels so good to meet my 20lb weight loss goal! It was hard work! I just hope I can keep it off this week!

Jessica Week 3:

1. Last weeks weight? 170.4

2. This weeks weight? 171

3a. Loss for the week? .6 gain

3b. Total Weight Lost So Far? 2 Pounds

4. How do you feel you did this week? Not so great. I was so busy that I didn't take the time to think about what I was eating. I ate way to much chocolate and snacked way to much.

5. What was your biggest struggle? My biggest struggles were snacking to much and not exercising. I need to make a little more time for myself so that I can fit some planning and exercise in. I guess this is the way things work when you have kids. It really does get hard to find time for yourself. I will do better this week.

6. Biggest success? I'm not sure if I had a big success this week. If I did have one I can remember.

7. Favorite food for the week? recipe? This week was crazy busy so I didn't do much cooking. It was mostly easy foods like soups, sandwiches, hamburgers, hot dogs, fruit. Pretty much anything simple. No recipes involved.

8. What helped you the most this week? Certainly not that ice cream sundae.

9. Did you exercise? I may have exercised once or twice.

10. Give us an example of what you eat in a normal day. Breakfast: Blueberry Luna Bar, Lunch: This week it was whatever I could find in my fridge, Dinner: grilled cheese and tomato soup.

11. What will you do differently this week? I am doing a no carb week. I really hope to see a difference on the scale. I also plan on exercising.

12. What will you do the same this week? Eat lots of fruit, drink lots of water.

13. Anything else you would like to share. The past few weeks I really feel like my weight has just been going up and down. Not really going anywhere. The goal of this challenge is to get down to a size 10 and I really want to get there. I decided earlier in the week that I need to make a change. I have been at a plateau for a while and I need something different in my diet to change things up a bit. That is what made me decide to do a full week very low carb. I started today and so far so good. I might feel differently in a few days. :) I really hope this week gives me the boost that I need.

No Carb Week!

Revision: I will actually be going low carb for the week instead of no carb. I did a little research and realized that it is almost impossible to do no carb because even some of the items that you think have no carbs actually have very little carbs. I will share more of my research with you tomorrow.

This week is officially going to be No Carb week for me. I really need to change it up a little to get my weight loss going again. The only problem is that I don't want to do it alone!

I am hoping that you guys can help me out with this one. I am hoping that there are some of you out there that are also stuck at a plateau and need a change. If anyone is interested in joining me please send me an email. I think it will be so much easier to do it together.

Tomorrow I will post what I plan to eat through out the week to stay no carb. Just to give everyone ideas on how it can be done. Then anyone that will be joining me can also add what foods they will be eating. It will be great to get tons of new no carb ideas. Then we can discuss through out the week our struggles and successes with this adventure. I can't wait to see the results!!!

So what do you think? Are you in?

The Greatest Weekend!

On Saturday, Maddie had her 1st soccer game of the 2010 season. She scored her first goal ever and was so excited. I actually cheered so loud that my throat hurt for the rest of the day. It was wonderful to see her so proud of herself. Last season (her first season) she wanted to score so bad but didn't. So this season she was determined to do it. She didn't just score 1 goal but she scored 2! She is awesome! I am so proud of her!

After Maddie's soccer game she had her 1st "girls" party. She wanted to have a few girls over and have a picnic and make ice cream sundaes and edible jewelry. The girls had so much fun! Here are some pics of the little cuties making me an ice cream sundae.

Maddie started with the magic shell and lots of it!

Liberty added some butterfly sprinkles

Anna added the cherry

Justianna thought it was hysterical to add a gummy worm :)

Jaycee put on tons of chocolate syrup

Megan added some delicious strawberries
and Maddie finished it off with some kit kat's

It was the best ice cream sundae I have ever had because it was made by six of the sweetest little girls I know.

It was such a wonderful weekend! I spent time with my family, great friends and a great bunch of little girls. Those little girls made me laugh and smile so much. I really can't wait to have another party for them.

Now onto the weight loss front. I can't say it was as enjoyable as the rest of my weekend. On Friday I was down to 170 pounds but after the last two days of fun I don't even want to know my weight. I think I need to do a little running tomorrow. I still need to learn how to control myself a little more when there is chocolate in front of me.

I need to go to the grocery store this week and pick up some low carb foods. I wanted to do low carb this week but I didn't make it to the store to pick up a nice supply. I really do want to try the low carb thing again. It seemed to work well the last time I tried it.

Have you ever gone low carb before? What foods would you suggest?

The Job Search Begins!!!

I am finally able to share my surprise with all of you. One of my surprises anyway. The other surprise/review/giveaway will have to wait for just a bit. I am still waiting to get the final go ahead from the company. It is definitely worth the wait.

My big surprise is that I have decided to go back to work full time! For all of you that know me you already know that I have been a very content stay at home mom for the last two years. Although I have loved every second of it I have decided that it is time for me to work outside of the home again. I have decided that I am ready to get back into the work field and I am thrilled to begin my job search.

My husband and I decided, when I was pregnant with my last daughter, that my body will not survive another pregnancy. This was a hard decision to make. Not because we want more children but because we weren't ready to have that decision made for us. I am however excited that the girls are now at a nice age and I don't ever have to go back to the sleepless nights. This is part of the reason why I have decided to go back to work outside of the home.

Another reason of course is that I miss it. I loved my last job! I managed the secretarial staff, data manager and residency coordinator in a hospital and it was a wonderful learning experience. I am so grateful for the time I worked in this position. I also provided administrative support to the director, provided organization to the department, handled scheduling, filled out paperwork, handled issues with patients and office staff and planned events. It was a high stress job but I think that is when I do my best. I love the pressure and I love working with a team of people. It keeps you on your toes and makes each day more exciting.

Also, it helps that my oldest daughter will be starting kindergarten full time in the fall. That of course means I will only be paying for one child in child care. This makes my decision to go back to work a lot easier. My soon to be 2 year old will be going to my husband's on-site child care center. My older daughter went to the same daycare for 2 years when I was working outside the home and we where very happy with every aspect of it. It definitely helps that my husband is just a minute away and he receives a nice discount. That and it is one of the best day cares in the area. It is so nice to know that when I go back to work my children will be properly cared for. It makes going to work so much less stressful.

I have to say that I am ecstatic to be telling you that I will be going back to work. The idea of looking for the perfect job and interviewing completely thrills me. I know, I'm odd but I really do like interviews. I may just be the only person in the world that does but I just think of them as an opportunity to meet new people, show them what I have to offer and find out more about the job I am interested in. It is all a great learning experience. I don't feel any interview is a waste. There is always something new to be learned.

What excites me the most is that I don't have to except any job that is offered to me. My husband and I have made it on one income for two years. We will survive a few more months this way if we have to. So I am going to wait until I am offered a job that I really want. I think it will be worth the wait to find the right job.

It is going to be exciting to not only share my weight loss journey with you but now I will also be able to share my job search. Hopefully in the near future I will be sharing with you some new weight loss ideas and adventures that I have when I start working outside the home.

This is going to be a big change for my family but I really feel this is where God wants me to be. Please keep my family in your prayers as we transition into this new stage in our lives.

And The Number Is.... Week 68 Weigh In

This week wasn't as great as I expected it to be. I was hoping to be into the 160's but unfortunately last night I ate four full fat hot dogs with regular buns. I was stressed and hungry so I ate them with out even thinking about it. This is what happens when I am stressed and don't have enough time in my day to get everything done.

I am going to give myself a little slack because I did accomplish way more yesterday then I ever thought humanly possible. It felt really good to get everything in my life caught up to where it needs to be. It is so much better then procrastinating. I'm just thankful that today I can relax. All deadlines have been met. :)

This is what I spent my day doing.

Watching my girls and my niece and nephew play in the bounce house. It kept them occupied for hours. It was some nice relaxation time for me and my sister.
When I stepped on the scale this morning it was at 171. That's a .6 gain. Yuck! I want the 160's. I really need to try harder. I am so close. I really need a good week this week to keep me motivated.

My Week In Review:

1. Exercise: Didn't make it to the gym and didn't run. Pretty much I cleaned, cleaned and cleaned some more. Does that count? :)

2. Water: I didn't do well with my water this week. I did start drinking more yesterday when a great blogger friend told me that I might be feeling the need to snack because I'm not drinking enough. I think she is right.

3. Late night eating: Not middle of the night eating but definitely late night. I am not going to do it at all this week. It is my goal.

4. Snacking: I didn't snack a lot during the day. Mostly at night and way to much of the wrong things. Bad week for snacking.

5. Eating more fruits and veggies: I have tons of fruit in the fridge. I just need to find the time to cut it up. Maybe tomorrow.

What do I need to work on for next week:

Everything! I really need to exercise more. I know I say this every week but it has gotten bad. Next week I will have the extra time so I am going to make myself do it.
I am also going to try to go low carb for the week. I'm not making any promises but I am going to try. The hardest part is going to be parting with my protein bars. I love those things.

And The Winner Is...

# 3 McNeill Family! Congrats on winning the Nourish Your Inner Goddess Gift Pack! You are going to love it. Please email me your name and address as soon as possible.

Thanks to all who entered and be on the look out. I have more giveaways coming in the near future.

Out With The Old. In With The New.

Last night I spent the entire evening going through all of my clothes and sorting them. It was an awesome feeling. When I found a few 18-20's hanging in my closet I almost cried. It really hit home last night what I have done. I went from wearing 18-20's from Layne Bryant to wearing size 12's from any store! Seriously, it was just so overwhelming.

I think since I have written about my weight loss on this blog for the last 16 months I see in my head such a slow change. But when I saw the 18-20 clothes, that I remember wearing, it hit me how drastic losing this much weight really is. It really motivated me to keep moving forward. It made me feel as if I can do anything now. I have to say that it was the most fun I have had cleaning in years. :)

The best part of cleaning is that now I have the opportunity to pass my old clothes down to a friends who are also on their own weight loss journey. It is so nice to not have to buy the inbetween sizes. Plus now my closet is clean and I have room for more "smaller" clothes. Now I just need the money to buy them. :)

If any of you have lost weight and still have your old "bigger" clothes I would suggest doing what I did last night. It was an amazing experience and I am so glad I took the plunge and did it.

There is no going back now!

Midnight Munchies

I thought I finally had made it past the Midnight Munchies but I was definitely wrong. The past week of two I have been ravines in the late evening. Around 9pm I start to get so hungry that nothing can stop me. Last night I came home from my daughters soccer practice and ate about 1 cup of turkey divan, 1 cup of oreo ice cream and then later in the evening I ate 1 serving of sour cream and onion ritz crackers and about a cup of chocolate chips. What is wrong with me???

When I first started eating healthier I had this same problem and I had to work so hard to get past it and now all of the sudden it is back. I wish I could figure out what is causing me to crave junk food at night. I went without these cravings for so long. It just seems so odd that I have them again.

Honestly the worst part of my day is usually between lunch and dinner. I used to want to eat non-stop but I have been doing pretty good with that lately. I'm not sure if I am not eating enough during the day or if I am to tired by the end of the night and I just want to eat to stay awake.

Have any of you ever experienced this before? What have you found to be helpful?

When I had this problem in the past I had so many different suggestions given to me. I tried many of them and they really did help me out until my body adjusted to not needing as much food. If you check out some of my old posts about binging you will find some great comments and suggestions from some of my readers.

I remember one thing that worked great for me in the past was eating a pear and some cheese before bed or cheese and wheat thins. I guess I could try this again but I really don't think my problem is hunger so I hate to stick food in my mouth that late if I'm really not hungry.

I'm thinking about eating more for dinner. I really haven't been eating much for dinner lately because I really haven't been that hungry at that time. Maybe I will force myself to eat more at dinnertime for the next few days and see how it goes. I really want to get this figured out because I can't stand the guilt of binging on chocolate chips at 10 o'clock at night.

If anyone has experienced this before and has any suggestions please let me know. :) I will keep you posted on my bigger dinner theory.

The Pudget Sisters Weight Loss Contest - Week 2

The Pudget Sisters Weight Loss Contest

Heather and I both had a great week for our contest. I hope we can both do just as well this coming week. Having Heather to compete against is so much fun. It reminds me of when we were younger and competing against each other in Super Mario Brother on the Nintendo. I will admit that Heather always won and I always beat her up for it. Those were the good old days. Heather might not agree with me on that one. :)

Heather, Kristin, Myself and Maddie at Kristin's Baby Shower

I hope you all enjoy reading about how we did this week! Let us know if you have any questions. We would love to hear from all of you. :)

Heather's Answers - Week 2

1. Last weeks weight? 174.4
2. This weeks weight? 171.6
3. Loss for the week? 2.8
4. How do you feel you did this week? I did much better than last week.
5. What was your biggest struggle? Counting points
6. Biggest success? avoiding the snack foods that make me overeat. (Ritz Sweet Home Sour Cream and Onion)
7. Favorite food for the week? Recipe? My favorite food this week was Pringles fat free Sour Cream and Onion. My favorite Recipe was Maple Mustard Pork Chops from my Cooking Light mag....they are amazing!!! To die for!!! My husband went nuts over them!
8. What helped you the most this week? Buying portion controlled snacks, and mostly knowing that I had gained last week. I was afraid that if I didn't start losing again I would have to go back to wearing my bigger clothes.
9. Did you exercise? No
10. Give us an example of what you eat in a normal day. Thomas Everything Bagel Thins with WW cream cheese. I love the 90 cal Fiber One bars. Tuna fish sandwiches with ff Sour Cream and Onion Pringles. And my own shredded chicken bbq (made with homemade bbq sauce) that was leftover from dinner early in the week.
11. What will you do differently this week? Try to start writing down what I eat again. That was always such a big help to me! Exercise would be good too.
12. What will you do the same this week? Plan ahead. I've already been grocery shopping and I have my menu planned. That always helps me to lose weight. I know exactly what I'll be eating for the week.
13. Anything else you would like to share. I need to find some motivation. I've been struggling with it lately. People have been telling me how good I look, and I think that makes me complacent. One woman actually told me yesterday that I didn't need to lose anymore weight. So as nice as it is to get these compliments, it might be easier for me if I didn't get them. It sounds so funny, because part of the reason I wanted to lose weight is because I was afraid people saw me as so fat and ugly, so now that I know they don't I should feel happy. And it does make me happy, but it also makes me lazy with what I put in my mouth. I start thinking, "Well, I look pretty good, so now I don't have to work as hard." I don't know if anyone else feels this way, but this is what I struggle with.

Jessica's Answers - Week 2

1. Last weeks weight? 171.8
2. This weeks weight? 170.4
3. Loss for the week? 1.4 pounds
4. How do you feel you did this week? I did great! I had a few weak moments but mostly I stuck to my plan and ate tons of fruit.
5. What was your biggest struggle? My biggest struggle this week was getting in some exercise. I really didn't want to do it. It didn't help that I had three migraines in on week. I think they are from allergies.
6. Biggest success? My biggest success this week was that I had a very busy week yet I was still able to keep my eating under control. I ate when I was hungry and stopped when I was full. I can't do much better then that.
7. Favorite food for the week? recipe? This is really bad but I didn't do much cooking this week. It was a busy week getting ready for my sister's baby shower so I did a lot of quick meals. I did have a good omelet with fried onions and 2% cheese and for another meal I made cheeseburgers with 93/7 hamburger (1lb) mixed with 1 packet of ranch dip mix. They tasted kind of like meatloaf hamburgers. It was a nice change.
8. What helped you the most this week? Eating lots of fruit and running again. I forgot how many calories you can burn when you run. If only I could get up the energy to do it every day. :)
9. Did you exercise? I would have liked to have exercised more but with getting ready for my sister's shower I didn't have much time to do it. It did get in two runs and I think one trip to the gym.
10. Give us an example of what you eat in a normal day. Breakfast: Blueberry Luna Bar, Lunch: This week it was whatever I could find in my fridge - fruit and leftovers, Dinner: Omelets and bagel thins or Fat free hot dogs and fat free chips.
11. What will you do differently this week? I need to exercise more. Heather, we need to go to the gym this week. No excuses. ;) I also need to cook some real meals.
12. What will you do the same this week? Eat lots of fruit, drink lots of water and run.
13. Anything else you would like to share. I know I shared this earlier in the week but I really think that the fresh fruit it really helping my weight loss. It is that time of year when the fruit is finally getting cheaper and bigger. Which means that I can start buying it again. I have felt like I was indulging every time I eat cantaloupe and watermelon. Probably because I refused to pay $4.00 for a personal watermelon the size of a small cantaloupe all winter. I love that my fridge is always stocked with fresh fruit again. I have it at least three times a day just because I love it.

And The Number Is...Week 67 Weigh In

I have such exciting news to share with all of you but I can't share it yet and it is killing me. :) I am so excited about it and by next week I should be able to post it. Sorry to get you excited and then not tell you but I can't hold it in much longer so I had to at least share a little.

This week was another great week. It had it ups and downs but I am learning that this is just a part of life. My whole weight loss journey is just learning to deal with the ups and down in my life with out changing my healthy lifestyle. It seems to be getting easier every day.

I weighed in yesterday morning at 170.4. This is a 1.4 loss for the week!!! Almost back down to the 160's. Definitley next week I will do it. I really need to get lower into the 160's because it is killing me going back and forth between the 160's and 170's. I shouldn't complain. I put this dress on today and it was huge. I am going to try to get it altered because I love it so much. I think I am going to take all of my dress pants to get altered also. Why waste the money on new ones when these are still in great shape?

I wanted to share something with you that has really been helping me the past two weeks to lose weight. I noticed that at Walmart the price of fruit is dropping and the size of the fruit is increasing. I decided it is finally time to buy fresh fruit again. I started buying tons of Watermelon (my fav.) and Cataloupe. I eat it several times a day just because I love it. I don't think of it as eating something healthy to fill myself up. My whole perspective on food is finally changing. I finally see the fruit as one of my favorite foods and I want to eat it with every meals. Ussually I eat cantelope with my breakfast and watermellon for snacks and with lunch or dinner or even both. I love it! Anyway, it is really helping to keep me satisfied without breaking the bank.

My Week In Review:

1. Exercise: gym, running and core exercises. Although the running gave me black and blue knees this week. It is gone now so I am going to have to make sure it doesn't happen again or I will have to go to the Doctor.

2. Water: I did great with water. I think allergy season has made my throat a little sore which causes me to drink more. I'm not complaining. I will take all the help I can get. :)

3. Late night eating: nope, that Cold Stone Creamery was definitley during the day. :)

4. Snacking: Mostly on cantaloupe and watermelon with an occasional protien bar.

5. Eating more fruits and veggies: I did great with eating cantaloupe and watermelon and a lot of butternut squash.

What do I need to work on for next week:

I need more gym time. I did good with running but didn't make it to the gym as much as I would have liked to. I am also contimplaiting runing alongside my daughter while she rides her bike. What do you think? Will I be able to keep up with her? Is it safe to do this? She's only 5 so I need to make sure I can stop her from going in the road if I need to.

I am also going to concentrate on less carbs this week. I think it will help to change things up a little. Hey, maybe next week I will try no carbs??? We'll see!

The Pudget Sisters Weight Loss Contest - Week 1

The Pudget Sisters Weight Loss Contest:

My sister is going to kill me for naming the contest this but I think it is funny. So the official name of the contest is The Pudget Sisters Weight Loss Contest.
Sorry this post is a little late. I meant to post it last Friday but you know how things go. I posted some pictures of Heather and I above. We are the one's standing. My sister Kristin will not be joining us because she is going to have a baby in the next 3-4 weeks. I wanted to post some before pictures and this was the best I could do.

Below you can read all about our first week of the contest.

Heather's Week 1 Answers:

1. Last weeks weight? 172.8
2. This weeks weight? 173.4
3. Loss for the week? +1.4
4. How do you feel you did this week? Disappointed. I really hate gaining....However, I was up 3lbs the day before weigh-in, so it could have been worse.
5. What was your biggest struggle? Eating too much. I haven't been counting WW points, so that really did me in.
6. Biggest success? Not gaining more than 1.4lbs.
7. Favorite food for the week? recipe? My favorite new food is Creamy Orzo Risotto with Butternut Squash. I came across this recipe on the WW website a couple months ago and it's FABULOUS! My favorite food is the Ritz Toasted Chips in Sweet Home Sour Cream and Onion. I love them! A little too much, if I'm being honest. I can probably sit and eat a whole bag by myself, hence the weight gain.
8. What helped you the most this week? I gained, so I'm not sure anything really helped this week.
9. Did you exercise? I hit the gym only one day.... :(
10. Give us an example of what you eat in a normal day. I haven't been eating breakfast (I know, bad). Lunch this week was mostly the Orzo Risotto or leftovers. Dinner is always something healthy. Tuna Noodle Casserole (with 98% ff Cream of Chicken Soup, WW Mexican Cheese, peas, Tuna and No Egg Noodles), my reduced fat version of Chicken Tetrazzini and a Roasted Chicken (I spray the top with Olive Oil Spray before I bake it instead of butter and EVOO to reduce the calories and fat). Snacks are FF Sour Cream Pringles or the Ritz Toasted Chips...and of course the occasional piece of chocolate from my kid's Easter baskets :)
11. What will you do differently this week? Drink more water, choose better snacks, try to get more exercise in although my daughter has a stomach bug so going to the gym might be hard.
12. What will you do the same this week? Ummmm, keep cooking healthy? I really am disappointed with myself for this past week and my weight gain, so there is not much I'm going to do the same for this week.
13. Anything else you would like to share. I am only 3 lbs away from my 10% weight loss goal. 10% of my body weight will be gone!!! that is so exciting! I'm really hoping to reach that goal by this Friday...we'll see. I'm also really nervous about competing with Jessica right now. She's done such a great job this past year, staying motivated and doing what she needed to do to lose almost 50 lbs. That's amazing and intimidating!!!! But she's the reason why I've lost 18lbs since January 6...she really is such an inspiration!

Jessica's Week 1 Answers:

1. Last weeks weight? 173
2. This weeks weight? 171.8
3. Loss for the week? 1.2 pounds
4. How do you feel you did this week? I thought it was great. I got back into exercising and eating better. No more birthday cake!
5. What was your biggest struggle? Not eating chocolate. I really have been craving it lately which makes it much harder to resist the Easter baskets.
6. Biggest success? I was able to run again! I ran for 20 minutes no problem. It made me feel so good to know that I can still do it.
7. Favorite food for the week? recipe? Cheeseburgers (lean hamburger/2% cheese/light bun) and roasted butternut squash.
8. What helped you the most this week? Drinking lots of water and knowing that I am competing with my sister.
9. Did you exercise? Yes. Not as much as I would have like to but better then I have been doing. I ran 2 days, went to the gym once and have been using some other equipment that I am reviewing. It feels good to exercise again. I really notice a difference in the way my body feels when I exercise.
10. Give us an example of what you eat in a normal day. Breakfast: Bagel thin with 2 turkey sausage patties. Lunch: Creamy Orzo Risotto with Butternut Squash
and cantaloupe. Dinner: French toast and turkey sausage or Garlic chicken, baked sweet potato and green beans. Snack: watermelon, fat free chips, grapes, Ritz sour cream and onion chips.
11. What will you do differently this week? Drink more water, exercise more and of course not snack so much.
12. What will you do the same this week? Eat lots of fruit. I love it!
13. Anything else you would like to share. So far this contest has been so much fun. It is great competing with my sister and so much easier to do it with a partner. It makes it a little more exciting. I think that is one of the major keys to losing weight. Keeping it exciting. When you aren't excited about losing weight anymore than you need to change your motivation. Such as bathing suit season, new pants size, a contest or rewarding yourself. It always helps to change things up and keep it exciting.

If you have any suggestions to help us with the upcoming week we would love to hear them!

A Size 4?

Did you ever wonder what you will look like when you reach a smaller size? Probably the smallest size I ever pictured was a 10. I think because that is the size that I have never reached. Last night I was reading a Biggest Loser book and they have pictures of the contestants with their weight and height before and after. That is when I noticed a woman who is 5 foot 2 inches and weighed 130. She said she is wearing a size 4. I thought you had to weigh more like 100 pounds to wear a 4. :)

Then I started thinking about what I would look like in a size 4. It almost sounds sick to think that. I can't even picture it. I don't even know if it is possible. Does anyone else feel this way? I almost feel that I would be sickly skinny at that size. The girl in the book wasn't. She looked awesome but it does make me wonder. Would I look that good?

So of course now I am thinking "I wonder if I can get to this size.". Now I keep picturing myself at that size. It is really hard to picture because I can't picture what my face would look like. I just see a big head, and big bones and stretched skin. Boy, I hope I am off on that one. :)

Do you think that it is sick that I am thinking about that? I think it is just that it is becoming closer to being possible right now and the girl in the book looked so strong. That is what I want to look like. Strong, healthy and happy. I have the happy down. I am still working on the healthy but I really need to work on the strong. I know I am 10 times stronger then I was a year ago but I really want to define my muscles. I really can't wait to share with all of you how I started to do this. I am hoping to share it later in the week. I think you are all going to be so excited. Not only because it is a great product but because I am giving one away and it is super awesome!!! I will try to write the review later this week so that you don't have to wait to long to find out what I am talking about.

Product Review And Giveaway: Yoplait Greek Yogurts

Last week I was provided with Greek Yogurt ,by Yoplait through MyBlogSpark, to review. I chose to try the Honey Vanilla and Strawberry. Honestly the Honey Vanilla was good but a little bland for me but it did taste like honey and vanilla. It wasn't bad. I just decided that I prefer fruit flavors when it comes to yogurt. Then I tried the Strawberry and I really liked the texture. It was very creamy and thick. It reminded me of thick smoothie. The taste was good but not great. It wasn't sweet enough for me. I prefer everything extra, extra sweet so most people would probably think the flavor was great. Overall I would say that this yogurt is worth trying. Check out all of the info below to find out why. My favorite reason is because it has 2 times the protein of the leading yogurt. It would be a great snack before or after exercising.

And The Number Is...Week 66 Weigh In

It's been a fun week. I made it back to the gym and I started running again. I feel very productive. It feels nice to be active again.

This was the first week of my contest with my sister and I lost 1.2 pounds. Not bad. It brings me down to 171.8. I will post more about the week tomorrow when my sister and I write about our 1st week of the contest.

My Week In Review:

1. Exercise: gym and running

2. Water: did good with water.

3. Late night eating: nope!

4. Snacking: mostly on cantaloupe.

5. Eating more fruits and veggies: I did great with eating cantaloupe and watermelon and a lot of butternut squash.

What do I need to work on for next week:

I want to run at least three times a week at home, go to the gym at least twice a week and do some strength training.

Also, I plan to cut back on the carbs a bit and eat more protein. It is always good to switch it up a little.

I Can Still Run!!!

I'm so excited! I can still run. Actually I am a little bit shocked. I thought for sure 10 minutes would kill be but honestly 20 minutes was easy. Usually I have trouble with the first 5 minutes but not today. I just plowed through. It felt so good to be running again. Even though most likely I won't be running in the half marathon I had planned I still want to do it for myself. I slightly enjoy it and I am so proud of myself every time I do it. I guess when you have a husband and two kids life happens and it isn't always what we planned it to be and that's ok. I am kind of upset that I won't be running in the half marathon like I had planned but taking care of my body and my husband and children come first.

I do still plan to run a race in the near future but I'm not sure when. I know their is one around me on Thanksgiving. I think it is 9 miles. Maybe I will try for that one. I'm not sure yet. I'm just really glad that I can run again with no pain at all. That and the fact that I didn't lose my ability to run. That is what I was worried about the most. I just have to be very careful and stretch more before and after a run. I really don't want to hurt myself again. To many sleepless nights.

Running Again!

I'm just wanted to let you all know that I am getting ready for a little run today. It has been way to long since I have ran and my body is finally feeling good again. So I figured why not give it a try. I think my back is finally completely healed. I don't toss and turn all night with back pain so that is a good sign.

I will really be surprised if I can make it ten minutes but of course I am shooting for 20! I will update you later today on how I did. Wish me luck!

Then off to a play date with the kids. They are going to be so excited when I tell them. :)

The Gym

I actually made myself go to the gym today. It was hard to do but having my sister with me made it easier. Once we told each other we were going we couldn't back out. Even though we both wanted to.

I got on the elliptical thinking that this will be nice. Boy was I surprised when I could barely do 10 minutes. Then I realized that it really has been that long since I went to the gym. Wow! But I didn't give up that easily. I pushed myself for a full 40 minutes and burned over 300 calories. It was quite the workout. I was expecting it to be so much easier. It makes me sad to realize that I let myself get to this point but I am determined to get myself back into even better shape then I was before.

Today is the middle of the first week of mine and my sister's contest. I really need to give it a name. Any suggestions??? It is going well especially now that we are back at the gym. We will be going again Thursday and I am actually very excited about it. I also have a new piece of exercise equipment that I have been using and will be reviewing either later this week or early next week. I can't wait to share it with you. It is the best home gym equipment I think anyone could ever own. For many reasons. I will explain in my review.

On Friday, Heather and I, will be weighing in for our first week of the contest. It is really cool because we are both starting out at almost the exact weight. It is definitely going to make it more exciting this way.

I am going to come up with a list of exciting questions for both of us to answer each week so that all of you can see what our ups and downs are and how we are dealing with them. I really hope this contest can help all of you as much as it is going to help us.

For lunch today my sister and I made Creamy Orzo Risotto with Butternut Squash
. We made it a little easier and less expensive today. We decided to use the frozen sweet potato patties from Aldi instead of the butternut squash. It saved us so much time and energy because butternut squash is so hard to cut and saved us a little money because the squash would cost about $2.50 but the sweet potatoes cost around $.60. It tasted slightly different but just as good. I am so glad we tried the switch because now I won't be hesitant to make it because of the time and the money. It really is one of my favorite foods if not my favorite low fat foods. You really should try it. I love it with just a little salt on top. Yummy!!!

What is your favorite piece of at home exercise equipment?

And The Number Is...Week 65 Weigh In

It's been another busy week around here. I turned 30 on Thursday and it seemed like a whole week of celebrating. It was so much fun and so much to eat!

I won't tell you everything I ate but it was way more then any human being should consume in that may days. When I weighed myself today (a little later then my normal weigh in)I weighed 173. Quite embarrassing. I can't believe I gained 4 pounds. I shouldn't say that. I can believe it when I think about everything that I ate. I enjoyed every bite and I am back on track today.

I am actually going to the gym tomorrow. It will be the first time in a long time since I have gone. I am kind of excited and kind of feeling lazy. Honestly, I really don't want to go but I really need to.

My Week In Review:

1. Exercise: no exercise.

2. Water: I didn't do great with water this week.

3. Late night eating: I ate half of a chocolate cake w/ peanut butter icing in the middle of the night after my birthday.

4. Snacking: Snacked on to much cake.

5. Eating more fruits and veggies: I did eat a lot of fruit.

What do I need to work on for next week:

The main thing that I am going to work on is making myself exercise again. It is so hard to get back into it when you haven't done it in a while.

A Day Of Surprises!

Today is my day of surprises and I can't wait. It is so hard to not know what is going on and feel like everyone may be lying to me. I feel so confused. :) It is way to tiring to try to keep up with it all. I haven't figured out my surprise yet so I guess I should just give up and wait a few hours.

The only thing that I know is that I have to wear sneakers and we are going to be outside a lot. I'm not really even sure how true that part is. We are leaving in just a few hours after my daughter is done with swim lessons. So only a little while longer until I can relax a little and not feel so anxious about my surprise.

Yesterday was not a good eating day for me. I ate way to much leftover birthday cake. That's what I get for asking for chocolate cake with peanut butter icing. My husband doesn't like it and I love it. So that leaves All of it for me to eat. I get uncontrollable when we have it in the house. At least it is gone now. I may way five pounds more then I did a few days ago but it is gone. Hopefully I can behave better on Easter.

On Easter Day we have breakfast at church and then after the service we will go to my sister's house. We always have such a great time when the whole family is together. My sisters and I are loud, obnoxious and silly but I think everyone is used to that by now. It is so much fun reminiscing about all of the funny things we did when we where growing up. I can't wait!

I am sure we will have tons of food so I am going to have to be careful. We are having ham, turkey, mashed potatoes, sweet potatoes, mac & cheese, creamed corn, pickled eggs and beats and who knows what else. And for dessert I made a cherry cheese pie and my daughter helped decorate some Easter cupcakes. They turned out adorable! I also got some everything bagel thins for sandwiches at night and some Ritz sour cream and onion chips to snack on. They are so good.

I am so excited to celebrate the day that Jesus was Resurrected from the dead. What an amazing day that was! I am so thankful that God gave us his only son to die on the cross for our sins. I can't even imagine what our lives would be like if this would not have happened. Thank you Lord for your amazing sacrifice.

I hope you all have an amazing Easter Sunday! I would love to hear what your favorite holiday foods are. What strategy will you be using to keep yourself from overeating? I could use some suggestions. :)

Why Was I Dreading It?

My Birthday is over and I now have realized that it was kind of silly for me to dread being in my 30's. It really isn't that bad.

I had a wonderful birthday and I feel so blessed to have such a wonderful family. My sister got me all of the Twilight Saga books and both of the movies. I am loving them. I watched the movies and loved them. I was shocked that they weren't scary and I didn't have nightmares. Then I decided to read the books. They are so good that I can barely put them down. I am about halfway through book three. I have never enjoyed reading this much in my entire life.

The present that I received that shocked me the most was from my parents. They showed up at my house last night with Pizza and a new laptop!!! I was completely shocked. I never in a million years expected my parents to buy me a laptop for my birthday. I was so shocked that I actually woke up this morning thinking "did I really get a laptop for my birthday?". It is so cool that I am sitting on the couch typing this post on my new laptop. It is going to make my life so much easier and more fun. No more fighting over the computer. :) I think that makes my husband happy. I feel so spoiled and loved right now. Nothing beats the feeling of being loved!

The best part is that my birthday didn't end there. My in-laws sent me money which I used to get my hair cut and colored and my Aunt Diana sent me this beautiful dress. I love it. I couldn't have picked it out better myself. It is so my taste.

This morning I woke up to breakfast in bed. Todd and the girls were so excited to surprise me with a huge healthy meal. I think it may be the first time I have ever been surprised with breakfast in bed. I could get used to it.

Tomorrow is the big day. Todd and the girls are taking me somewhere all day for my birthday and I have no idea where we are going. They are enjoying their little secret. I am so excited to find out what it is. I'm sure we will have fun. I will be sure to bring my camera along so that I can show you some pictures.

After tomorrow my birthday celebrations will be officially over and things will be back to normal. This really has been the best birthday I have ever had. My family really put so much thought into my birthday this year. It feels so good to know how much they love me. My thirtieth birthday has turned out being a lot happier and special then I was expecting. I am definitely a happy girl!
