Hearts for Hearts Doll Giveaway

This face says it all! MJ loves her new Hearts for Hearts doll! Myblogspark sent it to me in the begining of October and I decided to give it to my youngest daughter because my oldest was receiving an American Girl Doll for her Birthday and I thought MJ would also like to have a doll to play with.

It was the cutest thing. She was excited to have a doll like her sister. She calls it her Amagina Girl Doll. :) She plays with it all the time. She loves brushing her hair and changing her clothes.

Hearts for Hearts dolls are "authentically dressed and lifelike dolls that represent a girl who is working to change her community in ways that are unique to her home country. Included with each doll are a friendship bracelet and a story booklet that explains how these multicultural girls live and contribute to their families, communities, and culture. Each doll also comes with a special code that unlocks a free membership to the kid-safe Hearts for Hearts Girls Website."

You can view all of the six Hearts for Hearts dolls on their website by clicking here.

This is Tipi from Laos. MJ loved her doll so much that my in-laws decided to get her this one for Christmas. She is going to love it! Her little cousin Ally will also be getting one for Christmas. We accidentally forgot MJ's doll at Ally's house a few weeks ago and Ally cried when she had to give it back a few days later. The girls just love these dolls and they are going to have so much fun playing together with them on Christmas day.

What I really love about these dolls are the price. You can find them on Amazon, Walmart and other stores and they cost around $25 and $30.

Playmates Toys is also giving away a Hearts for Hearts gift pack to one of my readers! I hope your excited! Here is what one winner will recieve: One Hearts For Hearts Girl, accompanied by a friendship bracelet, story booklet, donation for girls in need through partner World Vision and a special product code your daughter can use to unlock a free membership to the Hearts For Hearts Girls website, which provides access to the “myHeart” page and an array of games and activities.
Also, an outfit that is authentic to one of the Hearts for Hearts Girls’ culture, in which your daughter can also dress her doll

Not A Good Day

Not a good day at all. I stayed up way too late cleaning and just ate too much chocolate. :(

I did stop at the grocery store today and picked up some healthy food. Hopefully tomorrow will be a better day.

Two Weeks!

I can't believe it has been two weeks since I wrote a blog post! It's crazy how time flies (when you're working to much).

I have been extremely busy with my job the past few weeks. Our biggest event of the year was last evening and trying to pull it off as a new employee was quite a challenge.

I worked almost 65 hours this past week just to make it work. It was a tiring week and I can't say I ate the healthiest. Honestly I can't remember what I ate but it was a very stressful and crazy week.

That being said it was such a fulfilling week. Last night the mall was able to raise over $3,500.00 for Flood Victims in our area. The night turned out to be amazing. In the mall we had a huge bounce house obstacle course with slide, a balloon artist for the kids, free chair massages, free food sampling from several local restaurants, two school chorus groups, a Praise Team, and a huge dance group. We also had a band playing the entire night.

Not only did we have all of that but we had at least a dozen vendors throughout the mall showing off their items and over 70 door prizes and two Grand Prizes of a $500.00 mall gift card and a getaway to an awesome resort.

Sounds like fun doesn't it?!! It really was. The last few weeks have been nuts but everything fell into place last night and with God's help it was a huge success!

Now that the big event is over I am hoping to get my life back into a better schedule. Meaning more sleep! I am so exhausted and it is not helping my eating habits. I have pms today and for some reason craved oatmeal creme pies. I think I ate 6 of them through out the day.

I wasn't kidding when I said I haven't been eating great. I haven't stepped on the scale lately but I pretty sure I don't want to.

I am sure that I want to get back on track. I can't stand the way I feel when I eat the way I have been. Why oh why is it so hard???

Starting right now I am back on track. I need to go to sleep so that I have the energy and motivation that I need in the morning. Nightie night!!!
