The first Newsletter will be emailed within the next week. I am so excited!!!
I'm At It Again!
For some reason I am not sleeping well. Last night it was because of my daughter crying off and on. Unfortunately insomnia is a vicious cycle. I have always suffered with it but ever since I have been on the Cymbalta and Lyrica for my Fibromyalgia I have been much better. Up until recently I was doing really well. Now I am having trouble sleeping again which means my Fibromyagia is flaring up. I am in more pain and I feel so tired all of the time. I need to start sleeping well again because I just can't lead a normal life this way. My life is way too busy to be held back by my Fibromyalgia.
I know that I am not hungry in the middle of the night and that my snacking is just a really bad habit. I just need to tell myself no when I wake up feeling that need to eat. For the next few days I am going to consciously tell myself no snacking in the middle of the night. We will see how it goes. After a few nights of success my body gets out of that bad habit and I don't have to worry about it anymore. Can you tell I have done this before? :)
Do any of you have the same problem with Midnight Snacking? How do you get through it without eating everything in sight?

Turning To Coupons!
Here is a picture of my old coupon holder. Can you see why it was so time consuming?
I decided that I am going to start up again with couponing because we really do need to find new ways to save money. This time I am going to do it the right way. I have a binder that I bought in the past that I am going to use. I need some photo holder sheets and then I will be set. I will show you the finished product hopefully by next week. :)
Today I plan to go to the Newspaper office and pick up a copy of yesterday's paper. I forgot to get it yesterday and I really want the coupons. Then I will cut them out and begin the matching process.
Here is a link to a post I wrote about a year ago. It has some great couponing tips.
How do you organize your coupons?
Fiber???
This morning's smoothie was made with 1 cup of Almond Breeze (only 40 calories), 2 tbsp of sugar free chocolate pudding mix, 2 tsp of peanut butter, a little Splenda and 6 ice cubes. It was really good and I am stuffed right now. I hope it holds me over until lunch.
I am trying to think of a way to make my smoothies a little more filling. I was going to add granola to it this morning but didn't want to add that many extra calories. I could always add a 1/2 of a banana (I didn't have any this morning but they are always an inexpensive option). The other thing I was thinking about was some sort of fiber. I think you can buy fiber in a tub and add it to things. I am pretty sure I bought it at a health food store one time. I am going to look into it a little more. It might be a good idea to add a little of this to my smoothies to help me stay full a little longer. Do you have any suggestions?
Last night I went to bed around 9pm (which is really early for me) because I was exhausted from the weekend. I knew that I needed some sleep but unfortunately I woke up this morning feeling just as tired as I did yesterday. I hate nights like this. I was in pain all night and couldn't seem to get comfortable. I felt like a pregnant woman. It wasn't a good feeling. Now I have to go through another day of feeling exhausted. I'm just praying that I don't get a migraine.
Unfortunately when I don't sleep well I don't seem to care about what I eat. I think eating is just a way of keeping my body going when it feels like it can't go any further. I hate days like this. I am going to do my best today to prevent myself from eating bad. Maybe a nap (very, very soon!).
At least I already have lunch planned. Leftover chicken, a small baked sweet potato (with ICBINB, splenda and Cinnamon) and a nice salad with veggies from our garden. I am so excited! I might even skip the potato because the salad sounds so good to me.
What do you like to eat in your salad?

Focus, Focus, Focus!!!
Starting tomorrow I am going back to being strict. It's the only way to lose these five pounds and more. If I keep eating like I have been I going to be back in the 180's in no time. That is not something that I want to do. I worked way to hard for this. I am not ready to go back to where I started.
Tomorrow is the day that I get my eating habits back on track. This is something that I really need to do even if I don't really want to. As of tomorrow morning I am going to be tracking everything I eat, drinking tons of water and exercising.
I made really awesome chicken tonight and I am looking forward to having that for lunch tomorrow and maybe even dinner. I am on a chicken kick and I am so thrilled about it. For the longest time I didn't want to eat chicken and now that is all I want. I am so glad because chicken is so much healthier then the red meat I usually crave. I hope this chicken kick lasts.
I missed bootcamp yesterday. I had to go to my daughter's soccer game, cook mac & cheese for a Birthday party and then take the girls to a party at the park. It ended up that I stayed up too late on Friday night and wore myself out so I didn't wake up in enough time to do everything I had to do plus go to bootcamp. If my life was more organized I wouldn't have that problem. I am working on this one because it really stresses me out when my house and life are not in order.
After another crazy busy weekend I am looking forward to a nice relaxing week. I know I should love the weekends but sometimes they are just too over packed. Once things in my life are more organized I think it will make my weekends much easier.
How does lack of organization effect your weight loss?

Crazy Days!!!
Lia Sophia - Layered Bracelets
Potato Flyer Prize Pack
Vitalicious SuperSampler Pack
I was so excited about bootcamp last night and then it ended up being canceled because of some awful weather. We actually had hail and trees falling down in the middle of September. It was a little scary.
I have bootcamp again tomorrow or Sat. I'm not sure which one I am going to. I guess it depends on when I go to bed tonight. I have to finish this post and then I have a little reading to do and maybe a little work for my website design class. Life never seems to slow down.
I did get a ton of stuff done the past two days. My husband and I got used bunk beds (that are very nice) for our oldest daughter's room. She absolutely adores them and they go perfect with the Hannah Montana bedroom set, curtains, body pillow and so much more, that was given to us by a good friend. It was a very generous gift and we are all very grateful.
It was a lot of work to move old stuff out, new stuff in and all of the rearranging in between. I think I burnt plenty of calories yesterday. It was a good workout carrying everything up and down the stairs and room to room. Not my idea of fun but at least it is almost done. I hope tomorrow I can do the finishing touches and then I will have it complete.
Today I had a wonderful grilled chicken sandwich from Burger King. I usually get a Whopper Jr. with no cheese or mayo but today I felt like having a something different. I was so excited when I got it (with no mayo of course) and it came on Ciabatta bread. I'm not sure on the calorie count but it was wonderful. I will definitely get it again.
For dinner I made Chicken Fettuccine Alfredo in my Vitamix. I love that thing. I made about $5.00 worth of Alfredo sauce for less then $2.00. The best part is that I can put in my own fresh ingredients and make it healthy. It tasted so good! I put in some leftover chicken and Smart Taste Pasta. Yummy!
I'm looking forward to getting back to bootcamp again tomorrow. I think it is going to be another long crazy weekend. I really just need a weekend to relax and get caught up but I am not seeing that happen in the near future. My crazy schedule is not good for my weight loss or my fibromyalgia. I need to figure out a way to make some time for some relaxation. I think this will help me get some energy and motivation back.
Tomorrow's Friday and I am hoping to get a lot of work done in my web design class. I really enjoy it but am having trouble finding the time to do it. I am hoping to catch up on everything tomorrow.

Vitalicious Giveaway!
This is definitely one of my favorite review/giveaway's. I'm sure you can figure out why. :) Of course it's because I got to eat it. I love being a taste tester! Especially when the food is healthy.
I was amazed to open my Vitalicious box and find all of these yummy treats. I would like to tell you about them all but that would make my post way too long. Instead I am going to tell you that I loved all of the Vitalicious products.
I did find a few of the Vitatops to be a little dry. I think the Bran makes them slightly dry. I didn't want to waste them because they had great flavor so I popped them in the microwave for a few seconds and then sprayed them with a little I Can't Believe It's Not Butter. They were all awesome! It was an easy and quick fix.
My favorites of course were all of the chocolate Vitatops and Brownies. My number one favorite were the Chocolate Mint. I can't wait to buy more because these are a perfect frozen treat. I'm sure they are good defrosted too but I just couldn't wait. The Triple Chocolate Chunk Vitatops are just as wonderful. I love how much chocolate you can see and taste in these. They are just great!

I Banned The Ice Cream From The House!
On Monday I started back at Bootcamp. It was a tough workout but I did it. I was so proud of myself when I was done. It was one of those workouts where I couldn't catch my breath the entire time. I'm going back tonight for another session. I wanted to go this morning but couldn't get out of bed on time. As much as I dislike exercising I do like the amount of calories I am burning during these workouts. That is what is keeping me going.
Last night I went to a Pampered Chef Party. I love Pampered Chef! I don't know if any of you are as much of a fan of it as I am. The Stoneware is awesome! The consultant made a wonderful Ham, broccoli and cheese Calzone. It was amazing. She also made a delicious cake in the microwave. Then the host made a Enchilada pizza on her pizza stone. It was such a fun night and it reminded me of my love for cooking and Pampered Chef. I actually purchased some of their spices. I can't wait to get them and make some grilled chicken. The spices sound wonderful!
I'm sure you can figure out that with all of that fattening food that I ate too much. I had way too much cake and pretty much everything else. I hadn't eaten much yesterday just because I wasn't very hungry and then when I smelled food I felt absolutely ravenous. It was horrible! I think I ate more then anyone else at the party. I really need to get my act together. I really should have eaten dinner before I went. Then I wouldn't have been as hungry when I smelled the food. It is a lot harder to resist when you are starving.
I do have another great Smoothie Recipe to share. I have had it for breakfast the last two days and I love it!

And The Number Is .... Week 89 Weigh In
Ever since I got to my lowest weight of 166 it has been hard for me to stay at that weight. It is not that I am trying and it's not working it is just that my life has been so crazy and that always makes weight loss hard. Lack of sleep kills my weight loss and that has been my life the last two weeks.
I really need to get myself motivated. I really want to get into the 150's.
Week 89 Weigh In:
My Week In Review
1. Exercise: I did bootcamp last Sat.
2. Water: No
3. Late night eating: Ate way too much ice cream this past week.
4. Snacking: Ice cream and pretty much anything else I could find. Luckily I didn't have much in the house. :)
5. Eating more fruits and veggies: I ate lots of fruit. Loving the farmer's market!
What I need to work on this week:
My eating is the biggest problem at this point. I am going to bootcamp 3 days a week and I will continue to do so. It is awesome and I am burning tons of calories! I love it!
Unfortunately my eating has been crazy lately. I ate more ice cream in the last two weeks then I have in the past year. I'm not kidding. Luckily my life has been so hectic that I haven't had much time to sit down. I am always running around so at least I burn calories when I am doing this.
I have noticed that I have gotten so off track with my eating because I don't have a menu plan at the beginning of the week. I just make what have. It had made things more stressful and less healthy. I need to get back to menu planning. It really does help.

New Food Find!
I also ordered a salad for my husband and I to split. Grilled chicken of course. I love OIP's grilled chicken salads. Unfortunately I forgot that when you order a salad you also get a loaf of homemade bread. When my husband got home with the pizza, salad and bread I was starving. I grabbed the warm loaf of bread and the big container of Ranch salad dressing and started dipping. If you have never eaten warm bread and Ranch dressing you really need to try it. Maybe I shouldn't word it that way. You should probably stay away from it. :)
I ended up eating 1 piece of pizza, 1/4 of the salad and almost the whole loaf of bread. I take that back. My husband just informed me that I ate the whole loaf of bread. Yikes! I ate the whole loaf and I didn't even realize it. Honestly I don't even care. Not that I don't care about the calories but my husband and I stood out in our little kitchen talking and eating while the girls ate in the other room. It was just so nice to have a little time to ourselves to talk that I'm not even mad that I ate that much. We really enjoyed our dinner together and right now that's what matters most to me.
I will be back on track tomorrow and honestly I didn't eat much today just because I was so busy. I doubt the loaf of bread is even going to affect my weight.
I did eat something healthy today. I went to the farmer's market early this morning and bought apples, peaches, plums and a Watermelon. Kesseler's has the best fruit! I love their Gala apples and after tasting their peaches today I can say they have awesome peaches too. The peach that I ate today tasted like it came right off of my Grandfather's Peach tree before the Orchard burned. I miss those days.
I can't wait until I can eat another peach tomorrow. They are that good! maybe I can put one in my breakfast smoothie. Maybe a peach and some granola. I think that would be awesome! I will let you know if I come up with a new recipe tomorrow. :)
I actually discovered that Jello Brand now sells Sugar Free Banana Pudding. Of course I picked some up as soon as I saw it. I am like the Jello pudding Smoothie Freak. I put it in this morning's breakfast smoothie and it was amazing! It's definitely right up their with chocolate. I can't wait to do Peanut butter and banana together. Yum!!! I have so many new idea going through my head. I think I may have some new Smoothie recipes coming soon!
What is your favorite Smoothie?

Lia Sophia Giveaway!!!
My friend, Katherine Naus, has been selling Lia Sophia for quite a while and was so sweet to allow me to pick out whatever I wanted out of Lia Sophia's New Catalog. When she dropped off the catalog at my house I was shocked at the amazing amount of jewelry Lia Sophia has. I didn't realize that they could carry that many pieces. After browsing through the catalog like 50 times I ended up picking out two of the most beautiful necklaces.
To see a better picture of the necklaces you can click on the links above the pictures. They are just beautiful! They are even prettier in person then they are in the catalog. It was so hard for me to pick out what I wanted. They seriously have a ton of jewelry to choose from. What I love about Lia Sophia is that it is all so colorful. I would love to have a piece to match every outfit! :)

Pirate's Booty Giveaway!!!
Let me tell you this. We were missing out! I had no idea that Pirate Brands make more then just Pirate's Booty. So you can imagine my surprise when I received tons of Potato Flyers (a healthier version of a potato chip), Smart Puffs (a healthier version of Cheese Puffs), and last but not least Tings (a healthier version of a Cheetos).
I loved them all but my favorite are of course Pirate's Booty (all flavors - especially salt and vinegar and pizza) and the Smart Puffs! I was shocked by all of the flavors that Pirate Brands has to offer. The best part is that they all tasted amazing. The only flavor that my family didn't care for was Veggie. The consensus seemed to be that it tasted like broccoli. Not a bad thing but not our favorite. If you haven't tried Pirate's Brand products, you really need to. I absolutely love them!
The best part of Pirate Brands products are that they are healthy, all natural, baked and delicious. Pirate Brands has eliminated fryers and trans fats from all of their products and keep the ingredients simple. They don't just taste amazing . They are actually a great healthy snack.
When I got my Pirate's Booty in the mail we also received a bunch of goodies. I got a T-shirt that I wear to Bootcamp quite often, Pirate's Booty tattoo's (my girls loved them), a cute foam sword (the girls fight over :) ), and a cute hat. We decided to have a little fun and take take some pictures with our goodies.
Now we are having some fun!!!!
Check out the awesome Pirate's Booty tattoos and huge earrings!
Don't worry, I'm wearing a skort! :)

I Finally Got Some Sleep!
Last night I went to bed before 9pm and had a little trouble sleeping but I woke up feeling much better then I have in days. It's such a relief because for the past few days I have been laying around doing nothing and eating whatever I want. When I don't get enough sleep I just don't seem to care about anything. It makes weight loss so much harder.
I'm really not looking forward to tomorrow's weigh in. The only thing that has kept me on track the past week is going to Bootcamp at Fuel Fitness. If I just get my eating under control I know that weight will just fall off. This Bootcamp is awesome! On Saturday we did an obstacle course through the park. I wasn't sure if I was going to make it but I really pushed myself and did the whole thing. It was so hard but I was so proud of myself when we were done. It was awesome!
I feel so much stronger then I did two weeks ago. When I first started Bootcamp I wanted to cry. I felt like I had no muscles and I really felt so weak. After Saturday's workout I felt strong. It's amazing what a huge difference two weeks of bootcamp at Fuel Fitness has made for me. The best part is that I am noticing a difference in the way my body looks already. My abs feel tighter and my stomach "flab" is shrinking. I am loving it!
I can't wait to see myself in another two weeks. :) I really don't like exercising but being able to feel and see the difference in just two short weeks is really keeping me encouraged to continue. If I can just get this insomnia thing under control I will have so much more motivation and motivation is something that I really need when it comes to exercising.
What keeps you motivated to exercise?

My Financial Struggles
I think my life has just been so crazy with everything that is going on with my blog, my daughter starting school and then of course the never ending sickness in my home. Did I mention that we have a head cold in the house now. Both of the girls have it and Maddie has an ear infection. The poor kid is on antibiotics again. She's going to be eating a lot of yogurt the next two weeks. It's a good thing she likes it because the doctor said two a day for two weeks. I hope she doesn't get sick of it.
Last night I couldn't sleep so I sat here on my computer at 12:30am eating a cup of full fat chocolate chip cookie dough ice cream. I know a cup isn't that bad but I just wish I would have been able to sleep and then it would have never happened. I think it is just stress. Do any of you have problems sleeping when you are stressed? Any suggestions on how to get to sleep without binging?
Right now our financial situation is not great. Then again it really hasn't been since I stopped working when MJ was born. I'm not complaining. God has gotten us through so far and I need to trust in him that he will continue to do so. Sometimes it just gets stressful when you feel like you can't pay your bills.
I don't ussually share my financial situation on my blog. I guess it's because I am embarrassed of it but I feel like God is leading me to share this today. I am hoping that it will help some of you realize that you are not the only one dealing with financial issues. So here goes!
Before I had both of my children I was working full time and making very good money. I have a Bachelor's Degree in business and really enjoy being in the work force. While I was pregnant I got very ill with Hyperemisis and couldn't work. I ended up going back to work when Maddie was 18 months old. I had the same sickness with MJ and I have been off of work since I became pregnant with her three years ago.
While I wasn't working my husband and I were still living as if we had two salaries. We put everything on credit cards. Looking back I'm not sure why we did it but we did.
When MJ was a year old we realized what we had been doing and knew we had to take some action to stop using the credit cards and pay off our debt. Debt is a horrible thing and I am now learning what I wish I would have known 8 years ago. This is when we decided that we need to live off of what money we have and not use credit cards. Not using credit cards is one of the best decisions we have ever made.
Now we are living on a very tight budget while we quickly pay off all of our debt. In a few years we will be completely debt free and it all of this struggling will be completely worth it.
Right now my husband is sitting at the computer stressed about paying this month's bills. It is so hard for him, being an accountant and not being able to pay the bills. I feel awful for him because I know how stressful it is for him having to handle all of our finances. I just reminded him that God has gotten us this far and we need to trust and pray that he will continue to do so.
We really do have an awesome God! We have been on a very strict budget for approximately 10 months and we have been able to pay off enough debt to bring us 14 months closer to paying off our debt. It sounds sad but to us it is a big accomplishment and we are very excited. Not only that but God has also provided for us which has allowed me to be a Stay-At-Home Mom for the past two years. God is so good and I am so thankful that I have been able to be home with my girls for the past 2 years.
I don't know what our future holds. I may end up going back to work, I may be a stay-at-home Mom or even better a work-from-home Mom. What I do know is that we have given complete control of our lives to God. Our lives may not seem perfect but God's will is perfect and he will get us through the hard times. He has in the past so many times that I can't even name them all. God has a purpose for our lives and it is amazing to watch how everything he has planned comes about. It is like puzzle pieces falling into place. He is awesome and I love to see his amazing works.
Our financial situation may be a little stressful to us right now but I know that God will provide. If you have financial issues I encourage you to put them in God's hands. Pray to God and ask for his guidance and trust him to guide you through these hard times.
Now you know the whole reason why "Pudget: Losing Weight On A Budget", is a Budget weight loss blog. It wasn't really an option. It was what we needed to do at the time. I have learned so much the past year and a half writing this blog. Even if someday I don't have to worry about money I will still continue to live my life on a budget. I don't need the worldly possessions that I used to think were so important. Our extra money can be used to bless others. Maybe even families that are in the same situation that we are in right now. God is so good and because of him I know that everything is going to be okay.

I'm Not Perfect!
To everyone else that wrote to me, I'm not perfect and I will never claim to be. I am just Me! I am human just like all of you and I do make mistakes. I have never done well with spelling and I'm sure that isn't going to change any time soon and I am okay with it. It is just part of who I am and I have learned to live with it.
To all of you who wrote me nasty and judgemental emails I hope you can understand that when I write this blog I do not claim to be a perfect writer. I do this for fun and to help encourage others. I do make mistakes and if you think spelling a word wrong in a post is a big deal then you should see the mistakes I have made in the rest of my life. :)
I'm sorry that I offended so many people today by mispelling a word. I will try my best in the future to keep this from happening again but I'm sure that it's not going to happen. I hope you can enjoy my posts even if they do have misspellings. :)

Piccadilly Circus Designs Review and Giveaway!
Suzzane, the owner of Piccadilly Circus Designs, fuses felt lowercase letters or numbers onto a shirt and then hand stitches around the letters with embroidery thread. She turned your basic "comfy" tee into this adorable little shirt that my daughter looks just precious in. I'm sure you can see in the pictures that the shirt is made of a very nice fabric. It looks silky and doesn't seem to wrinkle easily. I hate to iron (or should I say refuse to) so this shirt is perfect for our home. Maddie is so excited to wear it to school when it gets a little cooler.
These are two other items that I found on Suzanne's blog that I would like to have. I just love the baseball tee look. So, so cute!

There are so many other great items on Piccadilly Circus Designs Etsy Store. She also has sweatshirts, short sleeve tee's, 3/4 length sleeve, onesies and they can all be designed in your color choice with your choice of letter or number. She also has designs to choose from. Her Etsy store is very neat and I think you will enjoy looking at it. I always love to see people selling unique items and Piccadilly Circus Designs is one of them. Her Felt designs and hand stitching really make her shirts unique.

What A Weekend!
Pippi trying to tell me that she needs water. :)
I kicked off the weekend by having some friends over for some late night pizza and ice cream on Friday night. When my oldest daughter was a baby we used to do this all of the time. Now, we are lucky if we do it once a year. After you have more then one child it is so much harder to do things like this physically and financially.
These are the pizza's that we picked up for our pizza night. I only ordered 5 and bread sticks but ended up with 7 because they forgot to put light sauce on two of them. They ended up remaking them and offering us the other two for $2.50 each. Of course I couldn't resist that. What a steal! We ended up with lots of extra pizza. I froze what was left of the cheese pizza for my girls. If we need a quick dinner before soccer some night I will just pull them out of the freezer and warm them up.
We had such a great night with friends but unfortunately I ate too much. I had three pieces of specialty pizza, 2/3's of an order of cheesy bread (with garlic butter) and a small Stormer (Blizzard) from our local ice cream store. It was made out of chocolate ice cream, peanut butter syrup and peanut butter cups. Remember, this was not my dinner it was just my late night snack. I'm sure you can imagine what I felt like when I stood up. I felt like I was going to explode. My stomach felt like a balloon that needed to pop. All night I tossed and turned in pain.
The next morning I had to get up early for Boot Camp at Fuel Fitness. I actually made it and somehow I was able to exercise. Unfortunately the indigestion and upset stomach didn't go away until the next morning. It is amazing what overeating can make you feel like. I decided, after Friday night's late night pizza and ice cream, that I will no longer binge like that again. It was just not worth feeling so sick. It was the most horrible two days of my life. My stomach just can't handle it.
After I got home from Bootcamp I took a nice long nap. I needed it after the night before. Then I went to my parents to pick some watermelons. They are all ripe and wonderfully sweet. While visiting my parents I was able to see the most wonderful rainbow on the farm. I took this picture of my Pap-pap's old tractor sitting on the farm. It brings back so many memories of growing up on the farm. I love this picture.
On Sunday I took the girls to Church Sunday and was once again amazed by God's Love! I couldn't afford to go to a Women's conference because of a financial issue that came up. After Church I was told that someone anonymously paid for me to go. God is so good! He teaches me everyday to have Faith in him. With God,anything is possible.
I love these faces!
On Sunday evening we went to my parents for dinner. We had awesome hamburgers (with bacon, bleu cheese, and sweet peppers mixed in) and Grilled Patty Pan Squash. I sliced the Patty Pan Squash and sprayed them with PAM and sprinkled with onion and garlic powder. Then I grilled them until slightly tender. They were awesome! I can't wait to make them again.

Nervous Breakdown and Waffle Cone Ice Cream
Yesterday started out as a really nice day. I was up early felt great and spent the day at my sisters. Unfortunately I forgot to have my just potty trained two year old go to the bathroom before our hour drive home. I'm sure you know what is coming next. It went from her peeing in the car seat to peeing on the bathroom floor and then while I was cleaning up the mess I put her in her crib. What did she do? She peed in her crib!
It just went downhill from there. My five year old's fish died and she was so upset because she got it at her 4th Birthday party almost 2 years ago. Then my dog ran into the gate as I opened it and caught my food underneath. Leaving me with a sore foot and a nice little bruise. Oh yeah, It gets worse. My 2 pound puppy somehow got one of her back claws caught in between the metal ring hanging from her collar. It took me about 1o minutes to get it out. She was in horrible pain and I just wanted to cry.
I then had about 10 minutes to feed my kids spaghetti for dinner before going to a friends house and watching her kids. My girls of course didn't like it and wouldn't touch it. I gave them peanut butter sandwiches and made them eat in the car on the way.
At this point I was ready to have a nervous breakdown. How can all of these things happen in less then 2 hours? I'm not made to handle this type of stress and my hormones are going crazy. I seriously just wanted to lay on the floor and cry and have a nice little pity party.
What did I do instead? I grabbed a container of Carmel waffle cone ice cream out of the freezer and finished it off. I think it was half full when I started. Did it make me feel better? Of course not. I don't know why I thought binging was the answer.
Even 50 pounds lighter I still have my emotional breakdowns where I go to food. It definitely happens less often but I can't say that it is gone completely. I hate that I still do this and I always feel so horrible once I am done.
I can tell you one thing that has helped me stop "Stress Binging", as often, is to not have the unhealthy food in the house. Usually, my house does not have any junk food in it. The worst thing I can binge on normally is Pirate's Booty or Sugar Free Chocolate Pudding w/ Peanut butter. When I feel that need to "stress eat" I normally grab my pudding and peanut butter and enjoy. If I really need to I will eat two of them. It really works for me.
The only time this fails is when I have something more fattening in the house. My husband buys me whatever I ask for when he goes to the grocery store for me. Last week I asked him for ice cream. Not the healthy kind. I told him I wanted something with nuts and marshmallow and all the good stuff. He came home with Breyer's Reese's peanut butter cup, chocolate chip cookie dough, Carmel waffle cone and Oreo. They were on sale. How do I resist that. The worst part is that the Oreo one is still in my freezer just calling my name. I need to stop asking him to get me stuff like that when I am stressed. It's not his fault. He is just being sweet.

"Fat Jessica" From The Beginning - A Must Read
I think she has a really great point. Some of you who have recently started following me don't know about my struggles and successes when I was 50 pounds heavier. I feel that the beginning of my journey is an important part of my Story. The beginning is when I struggled the most. In the beginning of my journey I binged more, cried about my weight, couldn't exercise, felt horrible about myself and was depressed. I'm sure a lot of you either are going through that right now or have gone through that.

You can't set your standards as high as someone that has already lost 5o pounds. It will just depress you if you aren't at that point in your life. If you aren't where I am or where someone else is don't worry about it. We all had to start somewhere. Yes, I can go to bootcamp and enjoy it now but a year and a half ago it would have been so much harder. A year and a half ago I would eat 6-8 slices of pizza for dinner but now I eat 1-2. You need to go at your own pace and don't expect to feel the same or be able to do the same things as someone else. Just remember that we all have a story behind our weight loss. There is no magic pill. I wish I could say there is but honestly it is a lot of hard work, a lot of struggles, lifestyle changes and trusting God to be with you all of the way.
Christmas 2008 - You can see on my face how unhappy I was. I hate this picture because I remember not being able to enjoy Christmas the way I should have been.

Bootcamp Bonanza Day 2 Giveaway!!!

I was given this product from Powerhouse Performance Coaching. It is called Powerhouse Hit The Deck and it is one of the most useful exercise products that I have seen on the market. Powerhouse Hit The Deck is a portable and easy to use fitness program that can be done anywhere with no equipment. Everything you need is in this little box that is smaller then my wallet. Seriously, it's pretty cool!
I was so excited when I opened the box to find so many of the exercises that I do at Bootcamp all on little cards. This set has warm up/cool down cards, "No Sweat" cards, "I'm Glistening" cards and "Sweating Buckets" cards. This way you can choose your level. These cards not only give pictures of the exercise but they also give step by step directions. It makes exercising so much easier when you have good instructions. The set also includes a timer so that you know exactly how long you need to do each exercise. Such a cool idea!
The way you use the Powerhouse Hit The Deck Cards is to set the timer, draw your first card and preform as many repetitions of the exercise on the card as possible. When the timer runs out you draw a new card. This way you can design your own workout. The back of the box says "Each card provides both cardiovascular and resistance training at the same time, making your workout more efficient and effective.".
It is such an easy to use program. I think whoever developed this program really had a great idea. So many exercise magazines and books have exercise programs that are so overwhelming and confusing. Powerhouse Hit The Deck is so much different because it makes it so simple to have a great workout anywhere, anytime. I'm loving this idea! Click here to check out Powerhouse Hit The Deck.

Another Great Giveaway
Look at this beautiful bag that Joanna at All About You Design made for my daughter. She actually Monogrammed her name on it. Maddie was so excited when it came in the mail. I had to pry it from her hands so that she wouldn't ruin it before she even started school. She is so proud to wear it to school every day. I love the fact that she doesn't have the same backpack that all of the kids have. A lot of the Kindergartners have the big hard plastic bags that look too big and uncomfortable. This bag is soft and fits Maddie perfectly. The best part is that Joanna actually makes these bags in three different sizes so you can fit the backpack to the child. She has so many different designs and she monograms them. They are all so cute!
Great News!!!
This is a sample of the giveaway. The actual prize will be black.
