I'm Back On Track

Thanks so much for your support after last night's binge. I had a stomach ache and heartburn all night. So not worth it!

I did much better today. For breakfast I had a chocolate peanut butter smoothie minus the banana, lunch was a cheeseburger on a bagel thin with ketchup, a Lucky Four-Leaf Salad with feta and apples and snack of sugar free chocolate pudding with 1 teaspoon of peanut butter, dinner was this delicious meal you see above. We had pork sirloin with and sauteed zucchini with garlic, salt, pepper and Parmesan cheese, and a baked sweet potato with ICBINB, Splenda and Cinnamon.
As long as I control my eating tonight I should be good. I have plans for some homemade popcorn tonight. I will share the results with you tomorrow. I'm excited to use the Nacho cheese flavoring I found.

No exercise for me today. My husband has been sick all week and now has bronchitus. It's not much fun for me to get sleep, do everything around the house and take care of the kids by myself while trying to keep the kids from disturbing him to much. I really pray that he is better tomorrow.
Breakfast:
None
Lunch:
Cheeseburger on bagel thin with ketchup
Ritz Chips - Cheddar - 1 serving
2 Cups of watermelon
Dinner:
Cheeseburger on bagel thin

Another Late Night Binge

Why do I do this to myself? I was out late and feeling very hungry. So instead of going to bed I stopped at Burger King and got a Medium Oreo Sundae Milkshake, a Rodeo Burger and a $1 Onion Rings.

Yeah, I really did eat all of that at 10pm as a late night snack. I was just going to get ice cream but then a burger and onion rings sounded so good. Somehow I convinced myself that it was okay to do this. I did thoroughly enjoy every bite. It seems like it has been forever since I have had fast food.

After eating and drinking every last drop I felt absolutely disgusting and realized what I had done. I pretty much ate two dinners tonight. I feel like I should be past this type of thing. I have lost almost 50 pounds and I still pig out at Burger King? Do any of you have this same issue? I really hate that I do this to myself.

I know I do this type of binge much less then I used to but I really hope some day I will completely be past it. Occasional fast food is great but only when it is for a meal and not a late night snack after a meal. One day!

And The Number Is ... Week 82 Weigh In

What an amazing week! I had two great interviews, I got to see Anna Moose and I lost weight. It doesn't get much sweeter then that. :)

This morning I weighed in at 168 pounds!!! That's a 1.4 loss for this week. I am determined to be down 50 pounds by next week. 50 Pounds?!?! Wow! I can't believe it will be 50 pounds lost. Finally, I am almost there. Honestly when I started this blog I felt like I would never be able to lose 50 pounds. It just seemed unimaginable but with my mini goals and 10 pound picture updates I am almost there.

The Pudget Plateau Busting Formula is really doing the trick. I hope it is doing the same for all of you. Imagine if I followed it fully and did my five days of exercise each week. I would be down to the 150's in no time at all.

My Week In Review

1. Exercise: I did do some swimming a few days but other then that I haven't exercised. I really need to get back to the gym. I know I keep saying it. Now I just need to do it!

2. Water: I did great with water.

3. Late night eating: None

4. Snacking: Snacked mostly on low fat cheese, sugar free pudding cups and watermelon. Oh yeah, and maybe a few reduced fat brownies. :) Those things are evil and addicting.

5. Eating more fruits and veggies: I did better this week with my veggies and of course I ate tons of watermelon. My fav.!

What I need to work on this week:

I need to get my butt back to the gym. I keep saying it but I really, really need to do it. I know the pounds will fall off so much faster if I just get in a little exercise. This is the only thing I am going to work on this week.

And The Winner Is ....

The winner of the Crayola Prize Pack is number 15, Heather! Congrats Heather!!! I hope your kids love this as much as mine do.
Thanks to everyone who entered and be on the look out for the next fun giveaway very soon!

Picnic Pig Outs

I had my second interview today. It was great! I know it sounds crazy but I love interviews. As much as they can be nerve racking it is also exciting getting to meet great new people.

The interview today confirmed my interest in this job. I really feel like it is the one for me. I should find out within the next two weeks if I get the job. Very, very exciting!

-------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Yesterday was not a great day for my weight loss. My sister had a picnic at her house because Anna Moose is visiting!!! Anna is a great friend of my sister's from when she lived out of state. Anna is a sweetheart and I love when she comes to visit. She fits perfectly in with my family. She is like our long lost sister. :)

At our picnic we had hamburgers, hot dogs, sausage, pizza, mac & cheese, macaroni salad, broccoli salad, corn on the cob, brownies and more brownies, carrot cake and watermelon. I had just about a little of everything. Yikes!

After I filled myself up on all of the very unhealthy food I felt absolutely disgusting. If only I could turn back time. I'm not sure why I was so starving. I ate a lunch of pork tenderloin, potatoes (fried in a little EVOO)with grape tomatoes and Weight Watchers cheese melted on top. You would think that would fill me up. Maybe I should have had a snack before the picnic. I was so busy yesterday that I didn't really have time to prepare myself and then when I smelled the food I just dove in. Big mistake. I thought I was finally past the picnic pig out. I was obviously wrong!

I Need Popcorn!

I was just thinking that I don't eat popcorn anymore. Mainly because my favorite is cheese popcorn and we all know how healthy that is. For some reason I have been really hungry for some good popcorn but I don't remember ever finding a good low fat popcorn before.

**********Great News! Rachel from Pirate's Booty contacted me today to find out what happened with my free cases. It was just an honest mistake that my samples were never mailed and to make up for it they are going to mail out my cases right away! Plus they are sending me a few extra goodies. I will take pictures as soon as I get them. :) Yeah, I am so happy that I can eat and promote one of my favorite snacks again! My mouth is watering just thinking about it. Pirate's Booty, here I come!***********

******Please read comment above******Of course there is always Pirate's Booty which I love but I am a little upset with them since they told me that they were sending me a bunch of samples to review and then never sent them. After them not responding to my emails in over a year I have kind of given up on that one. But seriously, who offers free Pirate's Booty and then doesn't send it. That is just so mean. I don't think they understand how much I like that stuff. I was seriously drooling over all of the great flavors. Some of which I can't even buy around here. Anyway, enough of my ranting. I will get over it some day and start eating my Aged White Cheddar Pirate's Booty again. Maybe. ******Please read comment above ******

Now that I have gotten that out of the way. What low fat popcorn do you eat? I want something that is as close to the real thing as possible. I do love Kettle Corn!

Okay, I have done my popcorn research and this is what I have found. Something very surprising to me. Did you know there is a such thing as a popcorn diet? Seriously? I didn't look into the details because that just sounds so unhealthy but do people really fall for stuff like this. I think we all need to learn that there is no quick fix when it comes to losing weight. It's hard and it takes time but in the end it is worth it to learn to eat healthy for the rest of your life.

I seem to be getting very off topic today. Back to the popcorn. Here are the choices I found. Please let me know if you have tried them and what you thought of them.

ACT II - 94% Fat Free Kettle Corn

ACT II - Mini Bags 94% Fat Free flavors

ACT II - 94% Fat Free Butter

Pop Secret 94% Fat Free Butter

Orville Redenbacher's SmartPop! Butter - 94% Fat Free

Orville Redenbacher's SmartPop! 94% Fat Free Kettle Korn

Cousin Willie's Fat Free Microwave Popcorn

Newman's Own - Unsalted, 94% Fat Free, Organic Microwave Popcorn

This one is my favorite! GoLightly Caramel Popcorn. Isn't GoLightly the liquid you have to drink before a surgery to clean your bowels out? Either way it says it is for people trying to lose weight or just eat healthy. I guess I would be willing to try it.

GOLIGHTLY's Caramel Popcorn Sugar Free, Reduced Calorie, Fat Free

These are all of the choices that I found online. I'm sure their are others but this is a good start. Please vote for your favorite popcorn and if any company would like to send me samples I am more then willing to try them. :)

If I didn't mention your favorite please feel free to type it in anyway. I will try the top two voted for and decide which I like best. Maybe even three if I can get some GoLightly Popcorn. :)

Yesterday's Menu:

Breakfast:
Pudget Chocolate Peanut Butter Smoothie

Lunch:
Left the house at 11:45 and didn't get home until sometime around 3:30. I did eat a Sugar Free chocolate pudding with 1 tablespoon of peanut butter and about 10 raw almonds before cooking dinner.

Dinner:
3oz of Pork Tenderlion
approx. 1 medium potato fried in a little EVOO, garlic, salt and pepper with a slice of Weight Watchers Cheese and 8 yellow grape tomatoes on top.
1 cup of zucchinni fried in very little EVOO, garlic, salt and pepper.

Snack: 1 ½ cups of full fat ice cream

The Interview

Thank you all again for all of your thoughts and prayers today. I really have the best readers in the world. You guys are great!

My interview today was wonderful! I couldn't have asked for it to go better. I really enjoyed getting to know the people I will be working with and learning more about the structure of the department and what the position entails.

I was so excited to get a phone call a few hours later for a second interview. It really feels like the perfect fit for me. All of my skills and previous experience fit perfectly into what is expected from this position. This is the exact type of job that I have been looking for.

Please keep me in your prayers again on Wednesday when I go back for my second interview. I am so thrilled that this may be where I will be working. Please pray that God will continue to show me his will in this situation.

My Interview is Tomorrow!!!!

I have spent the entire weekend preparing for my interview. I am very excited but I want to be prepared in every aspect of this interview. It helps me feel more relaxed when I know what the position is, where it is and what type of work is done by the company. I also like to review my resume and remind myself of everything I have done in my past. I think this is an important step because it would not be good to show up for an interview and not remember what you have done and how you did it. I am also working on a list of questions to ask during my interview. Also, a very important step. I want to know as much about the position as possible before I leave my interview. Mainly I want to be as prepared as possible.

Tomorrow is the big day. Please say a prayer for me. I am so excited because this job is very similar to the job I preformed before I got sick during my pregnancy and had to be hospitalized and put on bed rest. I loved that job! I learned so much from so many people. It was an awesome experience and I really never loved a job as much as I did that one. It would be awesome to be back working in the same kind of work. It was stressful, hectic, crazy and there was always something to be done. I think that is why I liked it. There was never a boring moment and there was never any room for error. It kept me on my toes and made every day exciting. I know it sounds kind of nuts but I loved it and I learned so many skills from this job that I will be able to use for the rest of my life. I am very grateful for the experience I had and I am really looking forward to using these skills in the future.

I will let all of you know tomorrow how my interview went. If I remember I will have my hubby take a picture of me in my full attire. A big thanks to everyone that voted on the color shirt I should wear. It looks like pink won. I'm so glad. It is more me then the purple shirt. I can't wait to try the shoes on with the suit. I love the shoes. :) I am also so thankful that my husband has a flexible job and can take a the afternoon off so that I can go to my interview. He is a great guy!

Guess What I Did Today!

I had a wonderful day shopping with my Mom. She is the only one that I can get to go on my marathon shopping trips with me. :)

Okay, I will give you a hint to what I did today. Here it is!

Just kidding. This is just the outfit that I wore to go shopping today. :)

I was actually shopping for a suit! I am so excited. I have an interview on Monday! It felt absolutely wonderful to put my business clothes back on. I am really ready to be back in the working world.

It will be so nice to only have to pay for daycare for one child and in a few years we won't have to pay for daycare at all. I love my children more then anything but I am ready to be part of the Working Mom's Club again. It does help that my husband's company has an on-site daycare for my youngest and before and after school care for my oldest. It makes me feel much better about this transition.

Here is the suit that I chose. Picking out the suit was the easy part. Finding a shirt to go under the suit was not so easy.

While we were shopping my Mom decided to have me try on an awesome dress that I fell in love with but can't afford. I told her that it was mean. :) The picture doesn't do it justice. It was so beautiful and made of beautiful little tags.

Okay, she didn't make me try this one on. This is just one that I fell in love with on the rack. It was $50.00 and another $70.00 for the beautiful coral colored half sweater to go over top. It was so hard to not buy it. My Mom actually pried it from my fingers and hung it back on the rack for me. I so loved it!

I loved the color of this one but now that I look at it in the pictures I don't love it as much. Still cute but not my favorite.

Another one of my favorites. I love anything yellow. I'm sure it would look better without a black bra under it. I actually tried this one on with the suit and I looked like a bumble bee. It was so funny!

This one is supposed to be a tummy tucker shirt or something like that but it didn't seem to do much for me.

Finally, this is what I ended up with. One black suit (which I love), 2 shirts (one purple and one pink), and a beautiful pair of black shoes with a little heal. I really had trouble finding a shirt to go under the suit. These where the two best that I could find. I think I like the pink one the best.
Which do you like better?

Purple

Pink

Please keep me in your prayers as I prepare for my interview and also have my interview. I am very excited about this position. It seems like the perfect fit for me. Please pray for God's Will with this job. I only want what he wants for me even if sometimes it's not what I want. God knows best!
----------------------------------------------------------------------------
Please cast your vote! Pink or Purple???

My Mom Is The Best!

It's been a boring day around here. I did some rearranging, cleaning and laundry. I'm looking forward to doing a little shopping with my Mom tomorrow.

This is a picture from our last shopping trip. My Mom is awesome! When she found out that I was going to be featured in Woman's World Magazine she took me on a little shopping spree. She took me for a special lunch before we started shopping. Sushi - My favorite!

This place is amazing!

My Mom and I

My Mom enjoying her soup.

Me getting ready to eat those delicious Sushi rolls.

Spicy Crab Roll and Tempera Shrimp Roll
Yum!

Making the onion volcano.

My meal!
Salmon on the Hibachi Grill. Seriously it was on of the best meals I have ever had. Definitely the best Salmon ever!

After our amazing lunch my Mom took me to a hair salon for some really great hair product and then to a stand in the mall where she bought some great hair clips and head bands for me and the girls. Then of course we had to check out Baby Gap for the girls. We found adorable matching outfits with matching shoes all on clearance. Yeah for clearance!

We then searched for about six more hours until we found the perfect clothes for the photo shoot. They are so awesome! My Mom picked out both outfits. She did such a great job! Then we went back to the mall for shoes and some beautiful make-up. I wasn't kidding when I said my Mom was the best!

Thanks Mom for being so awesome and always being there for me. You are the best Mom any woman could ever ask for. I am so blessed to have you as my Mom. I love you very much!

And The Number Is ... Week 81 Weigh In

My sister, Kristin, told me today that she is sick of seeing me going down to the 160's and then back into the 170's. She told me I need to stop going back up to the 170's. So this one is for you Kristin!

As of today I am out of the 170's for the last time. From now on it's all downhill for me. When I weighed in this morning I weighed 169.4! That's a 1.6 loss for the week! I am heading in the right direction with no plans of stopping anytime soon.

My Week In Review:

Feeling Good!

I feel wonderful today! I'm not sure if it is because I spent the day with both of my sisters or if it's because of my weigh in but either way I'm having a great day!

My cute little nephew!

I spent the entire afternoon at my youngest sisters house and we had a great time. It is always wonderful to spend time with my Sisters, Nieces and Nephews. My sister, Kristin, made us a wonderful Pizza for lunch. She took frozen pizza dough, thawed it, and then topped it with light ranch dressing, grilled chicken and 2% mozzarella cheese. It was one of the best pizza's I have ever had. The only problem was that I didn't want to stop eating it. :)

After lunch we let the kids play outside in the sprinkler. As you can see they were playing in freshly mowed grass. Somehow Makayla managed to get her entire body covered in it. She is such a funny kid.

After spraying all the grass off and then drying all of the kids we took them inside for a little Crayola Wonder time! My Niece and Nephew loved the Crayola products as much as my girls. They had so much fun making there own little pictures.

This was the ride home. Maddie and Pippi where worn out from a long day of playing at Aunt Kristin's. Thanks for having us over today, Kristin. We had a blast!

Crayola Review/ Giveaway

I have an awesome review to tell you about. Crayola sent my girls and I a ton of their Mess Free Color Wonder Products to review. My girls were so excited when they found out that they were getting Crayola products. It was very exciting for them to be able to review a product for "Mommy's blog".

These are all of the really cool products Crayola sent us.

I knew my girls would like the Crayola products but I didn't realize how much they would like them. They absolutely love them! Seriously, these products are great! Of course Mommy thinks they are great because there is no mess to clean up when they are done. No paint or marker on the clothes, table and floor. Just on the Mess Free paper. I love it!

Both of the girls enjoying there new Crayola products. Thank you Crayola for giving my daughters hours and hours of enjoyment!!!

My favorite and also my 2 year old's favorite is the Mess Free Color Wonder Stamper Activity Set. I honestly didn't know that these existed but I do have to say that they are the coolest invention ever! I don't know about you but when my kids get a hold of stamps I know I'm in trouble. They usually end up with it all over the paper, table and themselves. There fingers are usually black with ink by the time they are done. It's not fun. That's why these stampers are so great. They no longer have the ability to stamp on there bodies or get there fingers in the ink pad. These stamps really are awesome!!!

Perfect car ride fun!
(Mess Free Color Wonder Lap Desk)

As you can see by the beautiful picture she is coloring and also her smile that she is loving the Mess Free Color Wonder Stow and Go Studio.

My five year old's personal favorite is the Mess Free Color Wonder Finger paints and Paper. She loves it because one of her favorite things to do is paint. Unfortunately because of the mess I don't let her do it that often. She is thrilled because I told her she can paint with these paints anytime she wants. She wasn't sure whether to believe me or not. It was so cute!

My five year old is in her glory with all of these Crayola products.

My girls just can't get enough of this stuff. At least twice every day since we got it my girls have asked me to get it all out. Of course I don't mind because it keeps them busy and I don't have to clean up any mess. If I would have realized that these products were so awesome I would have bought them a long, long time ago. They are so worth every penny. Sometimes it is just so nice to have the kids entertained so that I can have a little peace.
Thank you Crayola for creating such entertaining products for our children!

Chocolate, Chocolate and More Chocolate!

Last night I had dinner at my parents. We ate out on the deck and it was just so peaceful. My Mom made steak and zucchini crisps and I made baked potatoes and brought Watermelon and reduced fat brownies. It was all so good.

These are the zucchini crisps that my Mom made. They are approx. 1 P per half of a med. zucchini. They are very healthy and tasted awesome. My girls loved them because they could pick them up like chips to eat. I will get the recipe from her and post it another day.

After dinner we went back to see my Grandmother since it was her Birthday. I actually resisted all of the wonderfully fattening foods. They looked so good. They had hot fudge brownie sundaes, Eclair cake, Chocolate zucchini cake and regular chocolate cake. I did have a bite of the chocolate zucchini cake and also of the Eclair cake but other then that I stayed away from it. It was so hard!

I had another rough Fibromyalgia day yesterday so I didn't get any exercise in. I really not doing very well with my exercise. I really need to get myself more motivated in this area. Is anyone else having trouble with this one? I just feel like by the time I get the girls down for a nap or bed all I want to do is sit down and relax for a few minutes.

Yesterday's Eats:

Breakfast: None - slept until 11am

Lunch:

bagel thin w/ mustard, 1 serving of turkey, 1 slice of 2% cheese
1 reduced fat string cheese
1 cup of watermelon

Snack:

1 baked potato w/ spray butter
4 oz of steak

Love That Watermelon

The jumbo Watermelon that I cut up today and put it in my Tupperware Thatsa Mega Bowl.

Today started out great! I weighed in at 169.6. I am thrilled to be back in the 160's. It is so exciting to think that in less then 10 pounds I will be in the 150's.

Unfortunately my went downhill from there. My Fibromyagia has been horrible all day. I have felt like sleeping all day long. It has been horrible because it seems like every time I have plans to get something accomplished my Fibromyalgia acts up. It's so irritating. I did feel better later this evening and I was able to do a little cleaning around the house and bathed the kids. I should just be thankful that I got a few things done. Now I am exhausted and ready for bed.

Tomorrow is a new day and I hope to fit in some exercise. Then I will be off to my parents for some awesome food on the grill. I will try to remember to take pictures.

Today's Eats:

Breakfast: None - crazy morning

Lunch:

Bagel thin, 1 tbsp light mayo, 1 serving of lean turkey lunch meat, 1 slice of 2% cheese.

1 sugar free chocolate pudding cup w/ 1 tsp of peanut butter

Dinner:

1 regular hot dog in regular bun

1 med. baked potato w/ 2 tbsp of fat free sour cream

approx. 2 cups of Green beans w/ ICBINB

1 Cup of Watermelon

Snack:

3 reduced fat brownies

Loving The Summer

I have some very awesome news. I may be in the 160's tomorrow!!! That would be so exciting. It has been a few weeks since I have seen those numbers. I can't wait!

Today we went to my hubby's company picnic at an amusement park. We had so much fun. We had picnic food, the girls got balloon animals, my husband won a prize and we had a great time in the park. It was just a nice relaxing day.

It was so hot today. It may have been close to 100 degrees. We actually ended up leaving the park early to go swimming at my friend Becky's house. We had a really nice time and it was great to cool off in the pool. The girls just love swimming at Becky's house. They always have so much fun swimming with Justianna, Hayden and Aaron.

Tomorrow is going to be my catch up day. I am going to be doing some cleaning, laundry and some organizing on my blog. I am hoping for a very productive day. On Tuesday I am going back to the gym. It has been way to long since I have been there. I am dreading going back but I know I will feel better once I do it.

I really need to eat more veggies. This whole eating outside of the house is killing me. Tomorrow I plan to eat more fruits and veggies. I think it will help me with getting back on track.
