No More Midnight Munchies. Yeah!!!!

I think I have found a solution for the midnight munchies. Scale Junkie left me a message in response to my midnight munchies post earlier in the week. She said that she found that midnight munchies usually means a good weight loss in the morning. She combats the munchies by telling herself that she doesn't want to ruin that weight loss.
This really is some great advice. I really think it will work for me to think that my being hungry will mean a great weight loss in the morning if I don't give in to the cravings. What a great incentive. I love it! She also suggested eating an evening snack consisting of a protein and a healthy carb. Thanks again Scale Junkie!

I've found myself waking up hungry almost every night this week and I'm down 3.7 pounds this week. Last night I told my stomach to munch on some fat because we have plenty of it stored, haha.

Hey there. I found your blog from a comment you posted on Roni's site. I have to say that you are doing really well. My mom and I are both doing Weight Watcher's (on a budget). She lives in Illinois and I am living in Germany with my husband who is in the Army. Our stats are similar except you look taller and have been more successful at weight loss than me. I enjoy your blog. Keep up the good work!

I never thought about midnight munchies being connected with morning weight loss. Do you think bedtime munchies are too? That's my struggle ... right after the kids are settled in bed and everything is quiet - I'M HUNGRY!

I have that problem also. As soon as the kids are in bed and I have a second to relax I want to eat. I have been trying to read a book instead but It probably wouldn't hurt to think about the great weight loss you will have the next day. Also, someone suggested Pears and cheese before bed. I bought the 2% Cracker Barrel Extra Sharp cheese (which is normally really expensive but I got it on sale and with coupons for around a $1.50) and some fresh pears. It really is a great combo before bed. It kept me full all night and tasted great. I think I will do it more often.

P.S. I cut my cheese into single servings and put them in individual snack bags when I got home from the store. To prevent binging of course :)
